"I thought this was going to be a good experience, changing doctors after 24 years can be a bit scary. On that very first visit he definitely seemed attentive and like the doctor that cares about the patient, I did leave his office feeling heard, but he proved to be just another doctor that sees a number not the person he is treating. Very dismissive and condescending. A direct quote from one of my visits with Dr. Lawson “I believe your pain is real to you.” After challenging him on this he made it a point to CHA with extra effort in his after visit notes on my chart. It wasn’t necessary I wasn’t going to file any complaints against him. Suffice it to say I have since moved on and found another doctor."
