"Although I was initially excited to have Dr. Hawkins take care of me during my first pregnancy, I ended up switching doctors at 33 weeks due to preeclampsia and hyper tension that Dr. Hawkins neglected to monitor or treat. Even after weeks of symptoms he was complacent and dismissive. My son was born 4 lbs 13 oz and spent the first 4 days of his life not by my side but in NICU due to low birth weight. This could have been prevented had Dr. Hawkins been checking my blood pressure. Thank God my child is healthy, but had my instinct not taken over, I hate to think of the danger my son and I were both in while under Dr. Hawkins care. Please proceed with caution and if you think something is wrong, get a second opinion."

He’s super caring, listens, and easy to talk to about any issues I had. Delivery was a breeze with him! He talked me through it, kept me calm, and checked on me the additional two days that I was in the hospital. Would recommend to anyone."

"I have no problem with Dr Hawkins but his staff is super unprofessional, Shakeithia. I came to the Dr July 20 and scheduled for surgery Sept 22...today is Sept 12 and I had to call her numerous amounts of times to ask how much the surgery is gonna cost me, which isn't my job. She told me several times to give her 2 weeks and call back bc she hasn't touched my chart to find out and just like I said it. The last time she had an attitude and took a long pause and said she working on people whose getting surgery this week and she hasn't touch my chart to find out the details I need. Then she tells someone else my business and how much but never called me, I had to call her today again myself, bad business there. I'm not sure why she don't like her job but she can give it here and I'll do a better job, customer service isn't her thing. This is the most ratchet Dr's office I have ever been to. I would never refer anyone here, unapologetically."
