"If you’re a spouse who wants to be involved in your wife’s treatment, don’t go here. The “all-women office” won’t allow any men in the back with their spouse, they require you to wait in the waiting room the entire appointment for every appointment. I’m the medically savvy one in the relationship, so every appointment my spouse requests me in the room so I can take down the information. Due to this, we ended up delivering 2 weeks early with the on call doctor because doctor Fontenot was “unavailable” over the weekend. That information was poorly explained and I believed she was on call, so we drove 50 minutes to Eunice hospital while my spouse was in labor. If the doctor would have included me in treatment whatsoever, we would’ve gone to the nearest ER being 20 minutes away since Fontenot wasn’t available…."

"Amazingly understanding and considerate. As for previous negative comments; I do believe that a person who has obtained a degree (complete education) on female health an anatomy knows more than the patient about their body. And to others, a doctor is a human and has their own health/life to maintain. Be considerate and patient, and appreciative."

"So to start out I just wanna say how extremely thankful I was for Dr.Kayla. I'm a very nervous person and happen to have very bad anxiety. This being my first OB appointment I was very nervous and didn't really know what to expect. The nurses and Dr.Kayla were so sweet and made sure to talk to me the whole time to distract me.
