"The road to get to the park was a little narrow and rough. But the park itself was nice, quiet. The check-in is easy. They call and give you instructions if you are not able to check in before they close at 5 pm. The shower was nice, but the hot water was not very warm."
"We stayed here at site 12 for 14 days! We absolutely loved this park. The bathrooms are awesome, warm & super clean. There are laundry facilities in both bathhouses. We didn’t use the bathrooms often as each site has full hookups. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the boat launch most days. Only wish there were more trails."
"What a campground, full hookup in a state park, and at a great price. We did have a bear visit the camper overnight, no issues I did as instructed and made sure all food items were put away. Did some hiking. However, trails had water above ankle deep. Nice laundry facility at the bath houses. Would recommend for a getaway, a bit of a drive to any services."
"Man we had a great time here. Clean well maintained. Awesome showers. Make sure to ask for an RV spot even if you are tenting. The hikers area/tenting is a far walk!"
"This place is absolutely beautiful. You will not get the parking lot feel at this campground!! Love all the trees. We biked, kayaked, walked our dogs, and relaxed! Also visited the Tabasco plant which was about 45 minutes away. This campground will be a must to go back to. Ate at a couple awesome restaurants too."
