"Due to my work, I had to come back to Shreveport from California. My wife is 7-8 months pregnant. She is not high risk, but was first tested before being cleared. We found Dr. Lockhart through wiliis knighton. This is from his profile on the willis-knighton site. "... High Risk OB, Bleeding/Menstrual Irregularities, Infertility Accepts patients at any stage of pregnancy, including high risk OB. Patient are accepted at later stage of pregnancy with a referral from a physician. ..." I contacted his office, explained the situation, and spoke with Morgan. she talked to the doctor and called me back saying not to worry, Dr. Lockhart will accept you, just bring your records when you come. My wife was not happy with this, and had her mother drop off the ONLY set of my wife's medical records to the office. We called Morgan, and confirmed that the records had been received and the doctor would look at them. Two days later, I call Morgan, and Morgan confirmed she had the records, she knew this was our only copy, and Dr. Lockhart would take her as a patient. A week later, i called Morgan again to confirm everything was good to go. Once again she saud yes, Dr. Lockhart would take my wife as a patient. I was to call after September 5th to get an appointment Today I call, and was placed on hold. after getting my name wrong 3 times, i was told by the office manager that BEFORE they had received my wife's records, they chose not to see my wife, based on a review of another DIFFERENT womans records they previously received via fax. Additionally, they chose not to try to tell my mother in law when she dropped off our ONLY copy of my wife's medical records, chose not to contact me, and chose to destroy the only copy of my wife's medical records. The office manager made many contradictory excuses, and several comments that seem to be intended to upset my pregnant wife, including more than one insult about my wife. All I can say is based on the lack of competence of the office staff, i can only gather that Dr. Lockhart's lack of competence as a doctor must be equal or greater. After all, these are the people he chose to represent him. Scarily disappointing."
