"I called the Wednesday before Christmas to have my medication sent to me on Friday.I was assured of delivery. The pharmacy was closed Christmas weekend and Monday, Christmas Day. No delivery made. By the end of the second day without my medication, I began to experience extremely negative symptoms. I called the pharmacy and was basically told that they had no way to resolve their error and I would have to do without. Not the first time this has happened. Pharmacist are providers and should be held to a high standard"

"For 10 years I have used Avita pharmacy 2601 Tulane Ave location for my pharmacy needs and they were at the top of the list when it came to service, satisfaction, friendliness, and productivity. This has not been the case as of the last 1-2 years. In fact, I am astounded at the change. There are still a number of employees from counter service, pharmacy assistant, to pharmacist who are hard-working, polite, and will go out of their way to help, but so help me the ones to the contrary are barely tolerable. They are rude, incompetent, and should not be in their particular profession. I am not basing this review off one incident nor am I the type of person who handles things this way but rather with a more direct approach will will be done also. But I did choose to write this review in lieu of the experience I just suffered moments ago, as it was the final straw and inexcusable. Not only was I argued with, questioned, treated rudely, spoken over, all due to their mistakes which were several in this month alone, causing me to go without 4-6 medications for days so far, but when the pharmacist of all people thought he had hung up the phone I was then lied on and made fun of being laughed at due to his ignorance of the situation. Incorrigible. Unacceptable. After a decade of mutual business I will be transferring all of my prescriptions."

"All the staff at Avita are very knowledgeable and friendly people. They also offer free delivery, even to the West Bank. I highly recommend this specialty pharmacy to anyone who has health care needs which are too complicated for your local Walgreens or CVS. They handle prior authorizations with my insurance, they contact my Doctors’ office and make sure they send the proper paperwork to the insurance before my prescription runs out."

"Great at filling my orders when I leave them a message. Very friendly and professional. I also know they ACTUALLY do all they can to help people find the means to get their medication which is why I use them and am happy to give them my business. If you have insurance and are thinking to go somewhere closer to you I encourage you to think about the people they help without insurance and do your bit to enable them to keep doing that. We are all in this together."

"Most of the time they are the best people to deal with. Only once in 5 years did my scripts get lost, never hot ordered, but only that one time. And they deliver all over metro area!"
