About the Business
Slidell Little Theatre, located at 2024 Nellie Drive in Slidell, Louisiana, has been captivating audiences since 1963. Founded by volunteers who saw the need for live theatre in the area, SLT has produced over 500 Main Stage shows over the years. Volunteers from all backgrounds come together to create sets, costumes, choreograph, and act in productions that bring music, drama, and laughter to the Northshore community.
Before moving to its current location next to the Fremaux Town Center, SLT performances were held in various venues such as high school gyms, the city auditorium, and a remodeled church. Today, the state-of-the-art facility at SLT features two stages - the Main Stage and the Allen L. Little Stage.

Located near many restaurants in the Fremeaux area of Slidell makes this a date night opportunity for couples or even a place to bring the family depending on the show. This is your community theatre so please be kind and don't expect a multi-million dollar Broadway production."
"Great small Theatre in Slidell. All volunteer staff and cast. While it could use some refurbishing, they make due with what they have...what they have is TALENT!!! BTW: DONORS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! Don't let this center for cultural arts and entertainment disappear. This theatre is important for the children of our community!!!"

"Was trying to find something to do last Saturday and thought about the Little Theater. Looked up the schedule and saw they were performing Jitney, a play based on a cab company in Pittsburgh. I must that I was amazed by the story and the performance of the cast. The show was so awesome I ordered my parents tickets for the next show. Thanks Slidell Little Theater."
