"first time at the trail, what an experience! full of wildlife you hear birds the entire time, the fish were jumping out of the water, and we even saw a pretty good sized gator off the walking path! the deck overlooking the water at the end was so tranquil and calm. if you sit and listen and keep an eye out there's so much to see."
"Great trail to take little hikers. Beautiful Spanish moss, ends up at a board walk/ overlook."
"This is a beautiful short trail into the marshes outside of Houma. Parts of the trail are overgrown so it must not see much use. Very happy we went."
"Trail was absolutely teeming with wildlife. Many birds can be heard and sometimes seen for the discerning eye. The overlook at the end of the trail offers a great encompassing view of the biodiversity in this area. Best time to visit for wildlife viewing is early morning."
"Great little scenic stroll through Louisiana's natural beauty. Has a really neat ending at a lake overlook patio. Only things to note were that the parking seemed very limited, some of the signs hadn't been cleaned in awhile, and the bugs were biting a bit around the creek."
