"The selection of Christmas themes was excellent. A variety of traditional holiday characters were presented by live actors( penguin, Santa, and snowman) were really nice. The volume of light displays was exceptional. The planners and workers should be commended for this display. (I was an out of town visitor to you beautiful park display."

"This is a neat historical site. There are several parking spaces here. It's a busy spot on the river, so it's a neat spot to take little people to observe the ships. There is also a levee trail so you can enjoy a nice stroll as well or let the kids ride things with wheels."

"We were having lunch next door and noticed some sculptures on the levy. The area is known as LaSalle’s landing. This is the spot where in 1682 the French explorer, Robert Cavalier De La Salle, landed in a small Native American village. He marked the spot, claiming the land for Louis XVI, King of France."

"Good place in Kenner to stop and view the Mississippi River. Sit on the benches and enjoy the maritime traffic up close. Watch airplanes from New Orleans Airport fly over the river."
