Walmart Pharmacy

"Horrible at servicing customers as come in. I waited at the drive thru while an another car was being service at the second row thru, I pushed the call button three times and no one came on. I didn’t even have a tube. Then the car in second drive thru drove off and another car pulled in and they serviced the second car and never acknowledged me. So I started pressing the button again and again. Finally someone comes on and I asked them if something was wrong with this lane and they said not. I was like I waited until the car next to me was done then another pulled up and you serviced her instead of who was actually next. She didn’t say nothing and said oh."

"I'm not sure if the current staff have a severe prejudice against mental health medications in general or if they just have issues with certain medications that I happen to need. Either way, every single interaction with this pharmacy was needlessly difficult, and it all centered around those medications in particular. From the start, they seemed to be trying to get me to go to a different pharmacy, giving me the runaround and neglecting to inform me of or follow through with things they could do to either keep me aware of the issue(s) or to resolve them. If I tried to explain that I was willing to wait or ask questions regarding obvious next steps or question clearly incorrect/suspect information from them, I was treated as more of a hassle. It was clear they didn't want to follow through with my prescription orders, they simply wanted me to go elsewhere so I wouldn't be their problem. They repeatedly fobbed me off to the higher person on staff available without indicating to me at all that they were passing off the phone. That individual was very rude and clearly held bias against either myself or the medications, but considering the overall attitude despite my attempting to be flexible or clarify what they were telling me, I'd say it was likely the medications. She was very condescending and rarely gave me the opportunity to accurately explain anything. She at least pretended to be professional in past interactions, but recently she went to outright ignoring my attempting to tell her that I was simply looking for information about an automated text I received about my medications, choosing to instead nearly shout over me to condescendingly explain what I had literally just gotten through telling her myself. I'm not sure what the deal is. But I've had other outside parties witness some of these interactions, and they were just as confused and angry about it as I was. Everyone is overworked and underpaid right now. I get it. But that never excuses treating customers like this, especially in a pharmacy setting with a patient. I won't be using this pharmacy again by choice."

"I've used multiple Walmart pharmacies in different locations since I've moved a lot. The lovely ladies at the New Iberia location were by far the most friendly and helpful of the ones I've been to. Highly recommend!"
