"Not a family friendly Mardis Gras parade. The crowd is rough, at 830 am people were pulling from bottles and playing dice in the street. Was waiting for a shooting to break out at any moment."
"Safe and festive. Embodies New Orleans culture."
"first i love what they stand for. next i loved that they took the time to explain their history to me. its more then just a party."
"I was there on a Friday and it was not crowded at all. You have to make your own fun and play your own music on the jukebox. The bartender Sunshine is very nice and the drinks are reasonable. But you basically buy pints and a chaser and make your own drinks. I like and don't like that. I can make it as strong or not as I like it. I got one bottle of champagne which was like two drinks for $7.00 and I got a bottle pint of Tito's. To get in you have to show your vaccination card. It is not a go to party place as hardly anyone was in it, but us girls and a few other's."
"This was at Glapion Hall and the place was nice. I was there for the New Orleans Gospel Soul Children's, coronation. The space is big enough for about 500 standing- 20 rounds, 300 classroom size. Not sure of the pricing, but the event I attended charged $25/pp and had food (buffet style). Cash bar. One thing I noticed is that the bar area is too big. They could use that space for more people and the men's bathroom is a bit roomy. Not as unnecessary as the bar though. I was able to purchase three cocktails for $17.00 so winner there ( no I only drink one of them thank you very much). There is a step up entrance. Don't remember seeing a wheelchair ramp. Not saying it wasn't there I just don't remember it. Which is strange, because the building is fairly new."
