"Only place i could find that was interested in helping a patient with a migraine. Big box stores IF they had meds were too busy to fill until next day. ASP transferred my rx, ran on insurance ,and had it ready for pickup all within the last hour b4 closing. Glad to find someone still putting the patient first."
"No one fills faster. I drive past a CVS and Walgreens to bring my business to APS. They deserve it. I was shocked the first time that I went there. I dropped off a script and asked, "When should I come back for it?" To my surprise, she said, "It should be ready in 5 minutes." It did not even take that long. This is normal there. They are especially helpful and professional and take time to answer questions when asked. The management keeps enough staff such that no customers have to go home and return later unless an item is out of stock. (AND, per my experience, out-of-stock items arrive the next day by 10:00 AM.). If I need a refill and need to speak to a pharmacist, I could drive from my home in Youngsville to APS, talk to a pharmacist, fill a script, and drive home in less time than being on hold if I were to call a CVS! Once you experience this place, you may never want to step in a big-box pharmacy again."

"Pro - fast filling This is not my normal pharmacy, but is always recommended by my daughters pediatrician anytime she prescribes a med that’s more uncommon or highly priced or difficult to get approved with insurance, although I’ve never had an issue with CVS in River Ranch. My daughter has been struggling for the past two years and we’ve been on and off several medicines and we did a med change. This dr really felt confident this would help and I really needed her on the med asap because she had just been pulled off one med that was making her sick. I decided to have the med sent here, knowing a PA etc would be needed and thinking this would be the better route to get it filled the quickest. I was wrong - not only did it never get filled, the communication was terrible and one of the girls were extremely rude the entire time I was trying to get answers. She just kept telling me “it’s denied” no other information. My insurance company kept telling me they didn’t know what she was talking about because no one on my policy had any denied prescription claims. FINALLY after a FIFTH phone call a different girl answered and I asked them to tell me the policy numbers they were attempting to use, so they actually have to stop and put some effort into seeing what’s going on. She’s now able to explain my claim wasn’t denied at all. The claim was approved but my insurance company pays a flat rate fee but they charge a higher price - so the problem was THE PHARMACY. Which wouldn’t be a problem at all, if they would have told me that days before on the first time I called because CVS does accept the rate. I could have called her Dr and got the med moved to CVS and picked it up Thursday. Instead I had to make several phone calls over several days where no one had the same information, and my daughter won’t be able to start her med until NEXT Tuesday, a full week later. All because ONE person who is being paid a salary to do what I was requesting, didn’t want to fully look into something and chose to get annoyed instead of doing her job. I would much prefer to wait several hours for my prescription to be filled at CVS if the alternative is not getting my meds or any communication at all."
"Always have what I need, and curbside pick up option is great, but their customer service could be better. I’ve called to refill three times now and the girls on the phone have always sounded really irritated and give one word responses, like I’m bothering them by calling. It makes me feel really uncomfortable. The first time I filled a script with them they forgot three of my four medications and I had to go back and again feel like I was bothering them by asking for my stuff."
