"There is a ton of potential and a lot of cool items here! I'm giving 2 stars for the items available, but the folks working there were somewhat rude. We had been browsing fo about an hour, my mother in law found some items she liked, with a few being in some locked up boxes. We asked for help 3 different times and were told just a moment, someone would get the keys, then immediately start helping someone else. They would make eye contact with us, but never addressed us after the request was made. Again, 3 different times this happened so we ended up leaving without making a purchase."

"Came here last Saturday and made two purchases. They have sooo much to look at, it would take multiple visits to take it all in lol. Probably my favorite antique shop in nola. Located on magazine st, great area for food, shopping, and desserts. Took one star off for the process of getting items from locked displays to view. They are so busy on Saturdays that it takes a little time to find someone with keys to get an item for purchase. While the first guy had no issues helping me, the younger lady kinda seemed like I was bothering her. There was an item, locked away in the back corner of store that I wanted to view up close to see the markings, e.g. 10k, 14k, or makers mark. She kinda acted like I was suppose to know what key and tell her exactly where it was. There's literally a million items so I had no clue, kinda had a moment of frustration with me and wasnt thrilled i was taking her away from the front counter. Perhaps she thought I was wasting her time but like some of the other reviewers, I'm younger and felt like I wasn't worth her time. But I did in fact make the purchase as I have no desire to waste time. Like some of the other younger buyers, I buy and resell and know what I want. I simply needed to view the markings on the rear to verify a few things. Other than that, I enjoy shopping here. I understand it's super busy and there's many many consignment owners that they have keys for so I get it. But still, I'm trying to make a purchase, I just simply don't have access to the locked items. The workers have the keys which requires seeking help. Other than that process, the store is great and I'll return very soon to finish exploring. Oh, also there's a percentage upcharge for non cash purchases. I spent around 80$ and noticed on my receipt that I paid 3$ or so extra for non cash just fyi"

"We recently visited Magazine Antique Mall in New Orleans and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, offering advice and information about the various items in the store. They had a great selection of antiques and other collectibles that were surprisingly affordable. The atmosphere of the store was great and was filled with history and memories, and the staff was always willing to share stories about the pieces they had. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this antique mall to anyone looking for unique, quality items at a great price."
