"I had the pleasure of dealing with Willand Power Implements at the beginning of this year. I purchased a new trolling motor along with a new graph, Live Foot and 2 Power Poles. The install was quick and professional. Not too long after the install I was having trouble with one the devices. It just so happened that we was both in the same area fishing. Will and Jeff found me on the water and fixed the issue. I had recently installed a used outboard a week before my son's local High School Tournament. Unfortunately I had some issues with it and wasn't going to be able to make it. "I brought my boat trailer in for some needed repairs. I'm giving them 2 stars because they did the work I asked for and it was well done. However they said that they would put a slick plastic cover over the runners but they put carpet over the runner. Normally I would have overlooked this, but they also added $26.81 to my credit card over the amount on the invoice. A credit card surcharge. I was not informed verbally when I handed over my credit card of the surcharge and it is not clear on the estimate or on the invoice that there is a surcharge. I called to complain about not being informed of the surcharge and the person over the phone was rude and not at all helpful. So, actually I would have given them 4 stars on the repair and one star on customer service. They don't want to hear complaints. The person even said that he wasn't my psychologist. I was actually just trying to let them know that they need to be more upfront with credit card surcharges, if they had been I would have paid by check or cash. This was a most unpleasant experience."
