"Do not use pleasure pools. They put in a new liner in July of 2023. It is constantly leaked. They told me it was due to the heat in water evaporation. I can continue to add water to my pool every day so the height would stay high enough to recirculate. Finally, in January I caught started calling them because it was getting terrible. They sent someone finally in February who drained my pool relined one side of the step and left. Now the pool leaks even worse. Have made multiple calls to pleasure pools to basically just get an answer that they will tell Philip. I finally called and said forget it. I'm hiring a different contractor to come out and fix the leak in my pool. Paid 4,800 for the new liner. What a shame. Wish I had seen these reviews!"
"We hired this company and they began work in October of 2021. The pool was scheduled to be finished at the end of November. The pool wasn't "finished" until two days before Christmas. It rained twice during that time frame, yet they still couldn't get their act together. After taking a closer look at the pool, we found several issues. The liner wrinkled within a couple of weeks, the stairs entering the pool had chunks of mortar falling off, and where the liner snaps into place around the edge of the pool was full of random swipes of mortar. We purchased a water feature at the end of the pool and the tiles on the feature have uneven gaps that you can see through to the core of the feature. I can deal with that, I'm not even upset with that. In their defense, they have fixed some of the problems. One of the pool lights was literally sideways, but they did very little to fix the landscaping after digging under the concrete. They did fix the mortar that was smeared all around the edge of the pool, and it took them a few weeks, but they came back and did a decent job of smoothing out the dirt around the pool. The fact that it is now just a couple of weeks from the year anniversary of them starting and we still have these existing problems is what I'm annoyed with. This man will tell you he's coming and then not show, unless he's trying to get a check, then he's there with bells on. Week after week he's said he's coming and then doesn't call or show up. I've been beyond patient and beyond accommodating. I've told every person that's asked to not use this company and will continue to do so. Spare yourself some headache, use literally anyone else. Hire some stranger you meet in the grocery store, hire a 3 year old to do the mortar around your pool stairs for similar results. Spend your thousands and thousands of dollars anywhere else but this company. This isn't one of those reviews where the person just didn't get what they want and they're being crappy on the internet. This company LITERALLY ripped us off with horrible work, and horrible work ethics. Had to come back to add some more pictures. When it rains now, if it’s a heavy rain, I’m greeted the next day by a floating liner that must be pumped out. I don’t even try calling anymore, what’s the point?"
"I worked for 7 years building pools, I started out a laborer then worked my way up to foreman position. I spent 3 years doing commercial Gunite pools and spas, the other 4 I spent doing residential pools. we built as many as 15 residential pools between May and November while doing jobs consisting of every manner of repair conceivable from busted lines to broken steps, liner replacements...lights ect. i started as laborer and again worked my way to a foreman position after a time. Being the one ultimately responsible for getting the job done, One thing I realized over the years was that it was difficult to keep good help, seen people hire on one day and never come back. The work wasn't difficult. Being able to depend on your employees was the hard part in my experience. So when I was entertaining the idea of relocating back home i started looking at what jobs might be available, seen these guys, so i called told them about my experience level, and inquired about any job openings... they told me that they weren't hiring anyone right now., so I said ok.. Well, how about next season.. they said no were not hiring next year either.. lol So they must have life by the balls and pools all figured out with that approach. Or else perhaps you do t need workers because not doing business / you have no work...."not even next year" After reading these reviews it appears "Red Flag" Pools might have been a more suitable name for this company."
"We absolutely love pleasure pools. Phillip and his guys were the best. They far exceeded my expectations on our pool build. From the design to the finished pool. Pleasure pools was awesome. I highly recommend them."
"So happy with our pool & the work Pleasure Pools did. He took our pictures & ideas & created exactly what we wanted. Philip was up front & said it would take this long etc., always came when he said, & the guys kept things cleaned up nicely. So glad we are getting to enjoy our pool this year. ☀️"
