"I pay almost $100 a month for half a months of service due to outages everyday it seems like. Super slow most the time compared to suddenlink. Really don’t know what’s going on but I’m looking into different internet providers! Paid my bill today only to have nothing almost all day!"
"If I could give 0 I would have, Someone called from Optimum to upgrade my service, she told me that the installation charge would be split up and billed on my next 12 bills...I agreed, got my next bill and total installation charge was on 1 bill along with this month and next months service. Called and they say there is nothing they can do to change it so now I have an almost $400 bill to pay for service that is off more than it is on. Terrible service. You can keep changing your name but as long as the service is the same what is the point?"
"The customer service with Optimum is great, no issues paying bills or any other concerns. Their website works great too. We live outside of the city limits of Derrider, & the internet has been great, no issues. If there is an outage, it was resolved within a reasonable time. Update: the customer service reached out to me, and sent me the $300 Visa Prepaid gift card. For whatever reasons, it showed it was sent, but after the inquiry the mistake was remedied."
"Definitely would be 0 stars if that was an option. Customer service is literally no help , everybody says different things. Called last month to pay my bill that was $120 (they made me pay for this month in advance, got the service in July ) and whoever took my information over the phone put it in incorrectly. After they confirmed it went through it “bounced back” days later so I was charged a late fee and now have to pay a $205 bill."
"Absolutely the worse company to get internet from. I have lived in three countries and 1/2 dozen states. Never had the issues I have with them. Absolutely horrendous service and their customer service is garbage. Flat out. We constantly lose service and all they do is threaten to charge us if they come out and automatically blame us. Do not get Thai service. It’s less frustrating to not have internet than to have this company. I can’t type enough to warn you about this company. Just….don’t…..get…..it."
