"Called refills in 4 days ago after being on hold One hour and 18 minutes. This am went to pick up at 8:00am as the info Walgreens has sent tons of folks like us in the mail the new pharmacy hours of 8a-8p Mon-Fri. Well, NOT the hrs posted on the door which was opened at 9:00am. SO, NO MEDS yet.! This is unacceptable as some may need medications ASAP, what then ? Very Poor Company & Pharmacy Management to say the least. I'm posting a pic of the card we got with new pharmacy hrs, if you have one toss it, not valid. !"
"Had abdominal surgery on Thursday am and Dr sent in antibiotics, anti nausea meds and pain meds. Attempted to reach them by phone thurs and waited 2 hrs with no answer. Husband went to check status and informed them that i just had surgery and they said "we have over 800 rx to fill. Itll be filled in the order received." Attempted to transfer to another pharmacy but they were unable to speak to anyone in the pharmacy to transfer. Called my physician and sent in new RX to a different pharmacy but because Walgreens had started the fill insurance wouldnt cover them. Did not have antibiotics or any pain meds post op through the weekend and now monday have been on hold for 2.5hrs trying to see if they will be filled today. Its unreasonable for someone to have surgery and not be able to get medications. Its been a very long, pain weekend."
"Been trying to get a prescription refilled for two days and at least 20 attempts. They ask for prescription number and when I enter it the recording says it’s incorrect. Then they just hang up on me. I ask to speak to someone and they hang up. This is friggen ridiculous. I’ll be transferring to CVS.I can’t go without meds because they don’t care about their customers health."
"I refilled my blood pressure medication on the website earlier today for pickup. I called the store two hours later and asked when it would be ready for pickup and the lady I spoke to asked me to give them 30 minutes to get it ready, so 40 minutes later I left my house to pick it up. I had another stop on the way so it was even more than 40 minutes before I arrived at the store. I called the store again before arriving because I also needed to pick up Musinex D, and I asked the lady that answered if I could pick it up in the drive thru because I have Covid. The employee told me that I would have to come in because they couldn’t sell it through the drive thru, so I masked up and went in. When I was called to the counter I told the employee that I was there to pickup a prescription and she told me that not only was it not ready, but there was no way that it would be filled before they closed, and I explained that I had called earlier and was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. The employee then went to ask another employee who started looking for it. In the meantime I asked the original employee for the Musinex D, and I told her that when we finished our transaction that she needed to wash her hands because I had Covid. Well, she flipped out and told the employee next to her that I had Covid who went and got the Lysol and started spraying it, and even got some on me! The original employee looked at me with utter disgust as if to say how dare you come in here with Covid even though I told her that I called before I came in and was told I had to come in order to buy the Musinex D! I lost my husband of 37 years a year ago, I don’t have anyone to run errands for me. I have never been so embarrassed, and humiliated in my life! The thing that bothered me the most was the pharmacist on duty stood there and watched the entire incident and never said a word, poor management! I have used this pharmacy since they opened years ago, but I will never go back there again!"
"I have gone the last two days without my medicine. I was shocked when I discovered the pharmacy was open today (Monday 1/15) with all of this ice, but excited because I’m bad off without my medicine. They said they could fill it and would close at 4pm today. I had spoken to them at 12:30pm. I gave them time to fill it because it usually takes a few hours. They had my name and my number and knew I was coming in before they closed. My parents drove 20 minutes through iced over roads to get it for me. When they get there at 3:30 the pharmacy is closed. I can understand them closing due to the icy conditions. I do get that and I don’t wish anyone to drive through this right now. But they were there and they told me when I needed to be there by. So if they spoke to me just a few hours ago and had a conversation with me about what was going on and knew I was coming they should have called me. They should have called anyone they spoke to about coming in today. Because now my parents had to drive through this awful ice and risked getting in an accident for nothing. Which is just wrong. I have had to work in bad conditions before and I would call the clients I knew were on their way to me. This was wrong on so many levels."
