Wonder Years Child Development Center

"I want to talk about the director of this specific location. My son started at Wonder Years 4 years ago, after a terrible experience with his previous daycare. The director, Jennifer, listened to me, heard my tears, and said nope, we're going to make this work and immediately MADE A SPOT for my son to start. Fast forward 4 years, my son accidentally brought home a pillow that was another child's, that her mother sewed for her. It was obviously very important to this child, so the center watched the cameras to find the pillow was put in my son's bag. Jenn called me and asked if I could return it, and my son was very upset because he gave the pillow to his dad as a gift. But we returned the pillow the next day. A day or so later, Jenn called me and said I know he was so upset, so I talked to the child's mom that made the pillow and she has some extra fabric. I'm going to make him one myself. THIS WOMAN IS LEARNING TO SEW BECAUSE MY SON WAS UPSET! Wonder Years is genuinely FAMILY to us and I do not have one bad thing to say about them. Christy, the owner, is just as kind and loving. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this daycare. 1000/10!!!!!"

"I recommend Wonder Years to everyone. All of us parents get nervous and anxious about putting our kiddos in daycare and let me just say that after having my kids in 3 different daycares, Wonder Years is absolutely the best! I never worry and I know my kids are always taken care of. The staff is so friendly, professional and the center is always SO clean. When I pick up my kids they always have a smile on their face and that says A LOT. The bad review that was left by John Kassan is NOT true at ALL. I have never in my life left a google review but I’m doing so for the first time because that bad review could not be more incorrect. He is my ex whom I share 2 kiddos with and I explained the payments to him in DETAIL numerous times. Like any daycare ( because there are employees to pay) if your kids do not attend one week because of covid, holidays, etc. your are still charged for that week in order to keep your spot. Wonder Years is gracious enough to only charge 50%!! I love that they offer bank drafts as this makes it easy for us busy parents. Great daycare, wonderful experience. If you’re in the Walker/Watson area, this daycare is the absolute best."

"I authorized them to charge me weekly on Fridays, as that is when I get paid. My children did not attend for 3 weeks due to COVID/Hurricane Ida, yet they are still charging me as if they're going. The very next week, on a MONDAY they are charging me for an entire week that they have not yet attended. Usually with a sound business, you are charged AFTER services have been provided, and only when they have actually been provided. I will be rescinding my authorization from them and taking my kids out of their care. SCAMMY BUSINESS"
