"I’ve been living here for 3 months and have been waiting on proper sized air filters for 3 months, so I ordered some myself since Management doesn’t seem to want to take care of it. Also, we are visited by Waste Management 6 days a week, on Mondays @ 4am & Wednesdays @ 5:30am consistently. So now I go to sleep at 9:30pm so I can wake up at 5:30am before they can wake me up, 2 out of 3 mornings. I pay $1251/month to live on 4th floor in an area with a high walkability factor because I cannot drive due to my s-TBI, only to be woken up consistently 3 out of 7 days a week. If you need to sleep through the night consistently, like most humans, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Let’s not forget to add that they have a blinking green light in the bedroom. For adequate sleep bedrooms are to be DARK, cold, & QUIET which you will never get here with a blinking green light and Waste Management’s insane and inefficient garbage route. If you are smart you won’t waste your time, $, or energy moving here. I will not be renewing my lease and have begun counting down the months until my lease is up. If you wanted me to write a better review then you should have given me better things to say. I can only work with what you give me."
"The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness and pleasant smile of the office. I was greeted with a smile by Sara. She was very informative and patient. She took the time to provide me with all the information I needed. Thank you Sara for making my time at the Mainstreet Annex enjoyable."
"Nice buildings. Good area to live. BUT POOOOOR MANAGEMENT. Sometimes the elevator’s not working. Sometimes the entry is broken. Sometimes something like an alarm beeps and beeps and beeps for couple hours inside the building and no one comes to turn it off! Inside the elevator is always HOT like a sauna."
"Location is good in terms of safety, shopping, etc. However, I've had some problems. The elevator was not working in the day I moved in. I took all my stuff to the 3rd floor using the stairway. The leasing office had all my contact information (telephone numbers and email address). They should have called me about the elevator outage so that I was able to reschedule the moving. It took about 4 days to get the elevator fixed. Again a few days after that, I faced another elevator outage. Also, it's been a couple days that the entry scanner is broken. So, I have to turn around the building and use the other entry. I emailed the leasing office on July 31, 2018, they did not respond. That's why I am writing this review to let people know about what's going on here. When you are paying about 20% more than the Lafayette's average leasing rates, you expect higher quality and comfort. I am not saying this is a bad apartment to live, I am just saying it does not worth. Also, I expected a response from the leasing office about the toilet that was super super dirty when I moved in. But they did not reply my email. I won't renew my lease with them."
"Although the location and appearances from the outside are good. The lack of upkeep and lack of friendliness or understanding of management isn't great. We have been here for almost 2 months and have had multiple elevator outages. Which is fun when you live on the fourth floor. We have had many days where the pool was green and unclean. Management told me "There ARE others swimming in it" SERIOUSLY!!! ITS GREEN! Good for them! Trash collection bin unusable and an alarm in the lobby that would NOT stop going off for days! I'm supposed to be okay with that! NOPE!When I have spoken to staff about issues they seem annoyed to have to "deal" with it and always say they are working on it but do not seem to understand that we are paying MORE to live here because of the amenities. If they are in repair and unusable all the time WHY ARE WE LIVING HERE! We will not be leasing here again."
