"i'd give it ZERO stars if i could. we ended our lease early. NEVER move here. our place got shot into, which wasn't their fault but they handled it terribly. RUDE, AWFUL staff. forgetful, argumentative, withheld payment info. didn't tell us of fees and then expected us to pay them. MOLD!! in closet, under AC. All they did was paint over it, and it comes back. DOG and MOLD damage upon moving in. again, all they did was paint over it. TERRIBLE dog AND mold smell that never went away no matter how much we deep cleaned. BAD bug issues that WE had to pay out of pocket for b/c we paid for pest control, but they only did it after 4 months of being there. HORRENDOUS treatment by staff for the issues we had. SO not worth it, seriously don't move here. I go out of my way to tell people NOT to move here. the manager has been fired but she was the WORST. Lashauna Williams girl YOU SUUUUCK. argumentative, rude, inconsiderate, useless at her job, took forever to get back to us which costed us more money and then TOLD US TO PAY THE MONEY. when i told her she must be joking, she took WEEKS to refund us for the payments which were THEIR FAULT in the first place for miscommunicating. at heart, there was a staffing issues and most of these problems are the cause of GREEDY, AWFUL establishments like Sunridge Apartments. Do better. NEVER - I REPEAT GIRL I'M SERIOUS - EVER MOVE HERE. attached are photos from where the bullet came in, and the mold in the closet and under the AC, plus the dog damage on the door frame. EDIT: parc at denham responding and ignoring MAJORITY of the issues i raised to address two things i already mentioned?? and nothing else?? okay girl stay on your high horse but it doesn't change the ACTUAL issues i mentioned or the fact that your business is in the toilet becaus y'alls way of conducting yourselves is inhumane and embarassing!!"
"expensive rent but no good customer service at all, management sucks. there is supposed to be a move out request form, I went in and filled out said form to move out prior to my end lease date, and they somehow lost my form when I called to confirm. Magically, the form was then found with the incorrect date on it, they even made copies of the date (Malika) And wanted to convince me that I wrote it in. The copy that I have has a different date, on top of them, stating that they could not find that copy. When i went into the office, they had it- but the date is different, I have had several maintenance request gone unanswered due to mold buildup in both bathroom toilets. There is also no heat working in my unit in 17° weather. I called for several days to get this handled with no callbacks when I made the request online I called again and they said that there were several people in front of me and that they are handled in order. When asked to speak to someone in corporate, they told me that I could look the number up because that request is “way too extensive” for them to do or give to me themselves."
"I moved in a week ago. I wish I would not have. The office staff has the absolute worst attitudes, especially Cade. The condescending tone in which they all take while speaking to you is completely unprofessional. Update: I’ve been here for 10 months and it has just continuously gotten worse. Maintenance does not respond to service requests in a timely manner. They also close out service requests as “completed” when they in fact, are not. The storage closet on the 2nd floor of my building has been full of rotting trash since I moved in and it has been reported to the front office on multiple occasions. As of this morning, the same trash is still in the storage closet. There is 0 communication from the front office. Yet we are somehow supposed to know that there has been staff changes. I’m not sure how they expect people to know that if it’s not being communicated. The new staff is dismissive and borderline aggressive. They can give their generic response of “we care” but yesterday was just further proof of how much they don’t care. Once again, maintenance closed out a work order without actually completing the request. When I brought up that it’s been 10 months of the same thing, the assistant manager made ZERO attempts to address my concerns. Instead, she told me that was a conversation she would have with maintenance and wouldn’t be speaking to me about it. This is the 3rd member of “management” that fails to actually listen to residents. Then, a person I know from my hometown was in the office and asked for my opinion about the complex and asked if she should move there. I said “don’t”. And then walked out. She followed and asked specific questions and I answered truthfully. While standing out front, the “manager”- the person that thinks I should just know there’s been staff changes that haven’t been communicated- came out and told me she was going to have me arrested. Once again, another member of “management” that fails to actually listen to residents. When asked what she was going to have me arrested for she could not articulate any reason and then changed her verbiage to “i could have you arrested”. She continued to berate me and gave a whole speech about how she cares about her tenants. She then told me she was giving me a lease violation and when asked for what she said I could not tell people my opinion and I should say “there’s highs and lows”- I’ve experienced no highs here and the fact that she is encouraging someone to lie is a little concerning. When asked again about how I am violating my lease she just said “read your lease” but failed to ever give a reason. The whole time her body language was aggressive and she was very unprofessional. But since she was recorded saying I can put whatever I want to on Google, here it is."
"Poor management; no one answers the phone when you call, and if you go to the office they’ll give you the runaround. The turnaround rate for managers and staff is exceedingly high, we went through several managers in the 2 years we were there and Kade was the ONLY decent one. Staff would steal rent deposits from residents who dropped off money or would remove residents from their leases without any cause or warning. Continuous Mold issues in bathrooms and walls that was never taken care of, there was a flea and ringworm outbreak in our building from one of the residents taking in strays but management overlooked it since it was a relative of his. AC’s would drip in the tub of the second bathroom, causing buildup and mold but management never fixed it or anything. Over charging rent and water after a lease has been signed and agreed to. You’ll be charged for damages that weren’t ever there after you move out, get charged for “breaking your lease” even if you abide by the 60 day notice of your lease end date, they’ll double bill you for things you’ve already paid for AFTER you moved out and if you try to fight them on it- they send it to collections and attack your credit, regardless if you have receipts for everything YOU paid for that they never supplied and explained that you already paid the bill. We received a bill stating we owed $500+ for stuff we already paid for and dealt with BEFORE we moved out. Lightbulbs, cleaning products, and pest control- we paid for all of it and they never supplied anything, yet we were still charged by them for it. If trash gets piled up due to bad weather or other residents, you’ll be charged for that as well. Not a safe environment for a family."
