"Live Oaks apartments is in a quiet and safe area. The grounds are maintained at 8/10 level, just some litter near dumpsters and along sidewalks that I suppose lawn care people don’t pick up. The exterior of the buildings is starting to get a bit shabby - like a 7/10- and could use a paint job and power washing. That’s me being a perfectionist since my close relative lives in a wealthy neighborhood nearby with a strict HOA so I’m comparing to her street. Importantly, the beautiful swimming pool here and the interior of the apartment are both excellent and a 9/10 experience. Thick floors and walls so neighbors hear each other rarely, no bedbug or roach infestations, freshly painted, good quality appliances, and big closets in each bedroom and bathroom. If you have maintenance requests, they will be honored within about a week and more quickly for urgent matters. I am very satisfied here, and there is a reason there are rarely vacancies. Live Oaks doesn’t need to have banners waving out front and signs posted out by the street trying to get new residents because good places are full."
