"I moved into Flatiron this past August and I love it. I’ll start by saying the building is brand new with brand new amenities. The building is equipped with a 24 hr gym, and a yoga room as well as 24 hr study rooms. I also enjoy the fact that I’m within walking distance to LSU’s campus. Every place has their pros and cons. However, Flatiron has been very proactive when I come to working through the kinks that come with opening a brand new building."
"Would be 0 stars if possible. First of all there may be 3 people that work here because whenever I call to complain (which is often) I always talk to the same person. This place was not ready to open on move-in day. The elevators were out of operation on move-in day until weeks later. The gym is still not open. The elevators and hallways smell like garbage. Somehow there are already rats and cockroaches running around the building. Absolutely not worth the price. Would love to give a more detailed review but I need some time. Edit more details.... The elevator might break every other week and it takes multiple days to be fixed. A handful of the pictures on the website and google are A.I. generated of what it was supposed to look like. The pool maybe can fit 10ish people and is a kiddie pool. DO NOT sign a lease before taking a tour in person. I don't blame the staff on-site but the upper management and owners for trying to maximize their profits by ripping off college kids. There are a lot better places to live in the area for a lot cheaper. I would compare Flatiron to a renovated Lark. (If you don't know the Lark its the GTA lobby across the street.)"
"Everything that Zane said is 100% factual. Do not let the 5 star reviews fool you, they are more than likely the office staff. Every single thing that they told me ended up being a lie, and nothing gets resolved in a timely manner. Have any maintenance problems? Good luck getting somebody out because Flatiron decided to hire one (1) worker for the entire complex! They are trained to lie to you and tell you whatever it takes for you to sign your name on the lease. On top of that, they are charging California prices in Baton Rouge. Who is actually going to pay $1,900 + utilities and parking for a 1 bd room? Unbelievable. Not only that, they are obligated to make sure the utilities are paid each month, and they can’t even do that! Entergy disconnected our power because they have not received a dime since we moved in. However, Flatiron had zero problem taking our money and telling us it was for utilities! I can honestly go on and on. If you decide to move here, I wish you luck."
"Choosing the Flatiron was by far the best decision I could have made considering my experience with another property. The manager Taylor was very helpful and professional. She made sure we were satisfied with the apartment. These apartments are very nice and clean. I’m so glad I was able to get in before they filled up. Happy to call the flatiron my home☺️"
