"If you are looking to get an actual diagnosis please look else where. Speaking as a concerned parent who has followed the advice of my child’s Pediatrician, early steps teacher, and speech therapist to get my child tested by a reputable trained specialist that is what I intended on doing. Seeing as every place in Louisiana has over a year waiting list even with commercial insurance boy was I surprised when I stumbled upon beyond a spectrum and only had to wait two weeks! That should have been my first warning but like any parent who wants to get their child help as soon as possible I hurriedly scheduled an appointment. In no way shape or form can you get a diagnosis through a 30 minute tele-heath call over the phone even the Calcasieu parish school board does two seasons that are an hour long in person with multiple professionals that give in depth insight on every detail of said testing. This place is a joke and the fact that said specialist could only recite that she didn’t see signs because she was “barely doing hand repetition and no head banging” she didn’t see cause for a further evaluation in person. I could tell from the start by her tone that i had wasted not only my time but my child’s! Yes, my child is not meeting the standard for their age group and it is unfortunate that said child can’t talk and has no social awareness and twiddles their fingers and hands for stimulation but I digress…. Yes I’m upset and learned a valuable lesson in patience and I can’t wait to see the results from the children’s hospital this coming may In conclusion don’t WASTE YOUR TIME !!! Edit: Replying to your false statement. My child has never been seen by another specialist that is a blatant lie. She’s been on several waitlists since she was two as stated above which is why I desperately and regretfully choose this facility. Why would anywhere in Marksville be in anyone’s top ten providers, but I do appreciate your witty response about getting “a third opinion” very funny and very professional of a business owner regarding diagnosis for children who desperately need help to function in every day life but I digress no matter how funny you are it can’t dispute the fact that seeing a child over a glorified FaceTime call for 20 minutes would leave a sour taste in any parents mouth. I wrote a review on my experience so no other parent walks in as blind as I did. Have the day that you deserve … oh yeah let’s not forget the smiley face because that screams professionalism I could give you a couple of tips on that as well Haha :)"
