"Never have enough housing choices for low income folks. But they try very hard to accommodate as many as they can."
"when u finally find somewhere to stay they take two months for u to move in. The caseworker with take 3 weeks to get to your paperwork. The inspection takes 1 month for them to get around to it. They don't care if u homeless with kids."
"They never answer the phone when I leave a voicemail they don’t return my call until 3-7 days later! Sent them payments and been calling to see if they received it my case worker called back 5 days later to tell me they didn’t receive it by this time I was out of town and couldn’t track down my money orders and I was penalized for their mishaps"
"Absolute loosers. Cannot ever get a call back. Been trying for over three weeks. And leaving messages for the case worker. I am the landlord. And I am now concerned that the organization cannot take care of business adequately. And that me as a landlord will never have any ability to lease any further to Port Arthur Housing, without tones of trouble. I'd think a call back within 3 weeks should be adequate. But I guess these people are so inadequate in their jobs they really don't care. And that is sad.. Especially since my Tax Dollars pay their damn salary. No wonder most people are totally fed up with these people."
