"Wish I could give it 0 stars. Management is horrid and nothing gets fixed."
"Terrible management. Summer Foster is truly an unhelpful and spiteful person. She constantly has an attitude and seems miserable."
"It's probably best to not live here. I've lived here for 2 or so years now and I'm looking for a new place. The managers aren't helpful at all. There's a drug problem in my building (you can smell weed in the breezeway and outside of some of the doors when you pass by) but they never do anything about it despite people complaining. From my understanding these apartments have had a long standing drug problem and had I have known that I would have never moved in (see apartments dot com for reviews complaining about it). They don't schedule spraying regularly enough to keep the pests out (cockroaches and spiders galore). And, the management's/owners' -only- concern is keeping people out of a "broken" pool by shelling out money, that could be used to fix other things, so they could re-lay a 4ft fence that isn't broken or damaged with a 6ft fence because some people went swimming when the management was careless enough to leave the gate unchained/unlocked for several days. I'm no rocket scientist but I'm fairly certain the people who went swimming thought the same thing I did when I saw the gate open and the chain gone, that the pool was open for swimming. Despite the fact that they were careless enough to leave the lock off the gate and the gate open for days, the management decides to write a nasty letter to all the residents threatening to keep the pool closed because people went swimming and accusing the residents of vandalism/breaking the lock. Seriously, the pool was closed when I moved in, a year or so later they decide to fix it and it sat there repaired but still closed for months while the sidewalk remained torn up. They finally get the side walk in order after it sat torn up for almost 6 months untouched but the pool is still "broken". I'm with the person who made a review 2 months ago on apartments dot com, they shouldn't be listing the "sparkling" pool as an amenity when its NEVER open and no one is allowed to use it. You're pretty much paying for a pool you never get to use. As of 6-26-2018 Parkchester disabled reviews on their facebook page to hide the complaints, like this one, instead of trying to fix them. I posted this same review up there on 6-25-2018."
