"Really enjoyed going to this place. Owner is AMAZING...prices are the best!"
"This place is amazing for all your seafood needs. Owners are true sweethearts every time we visit. Prices are reasonable and quality of seafood is 10/10. 10/28/22 Just left this amazing place. The owners are still so welcoming and accommodating with every visit. Fresh, full crabs…..waiting for crawfish to come back too! Their quality of seafood and good hospitality has truly gained my loyalty. If you read bad reviews…..please just go see for yourself! Love this place!"
"The best crawfish, red potatoes and corn on the cob you'll ever have. I've spent a lot of money in this place. When hurricane Katrina came through... They only got a small amount of damage on their restaurant roof when others around them suffered severe devastation. I was away, and had been seriously worried about the owners, and put a note for them on the government website that was put up for people who had lost power or been made homeless, a site for those affected to communicate with each other. It was amazing when I made my way back through there to see them still in business and serving food! The owner was so happy to see me, and I was happy to support their business. While I was talking to the owner, three members of the Army National Guard came over to buy seafood for 20 of them who had been deployed to Baton Rouge and Port Allen for security and rescue operations. I would not let them pay for their food, I paid. If they are going to put themselves in a potentially dangerous situation, and go away from home for the security of those who live in the hurricane devastated area, then I am going to do what I can to support them. Next time you are going across I-10 and want seafood... Stop here! You'll be so glad that you did! What a treat!"
"This is a good place to purchase fresh shrimp. They have the best prices than the grocery store. Fresh from the boat and the size and prices are great!! Visit them and you can ask for an amount that you want or the size and then you're set with good eating!! This place is GREAT!!!! Love it."
"We've bought many sacks of crawfish from Courville's Seafood in Port Allen, but today was the last time that will ever happen. Roughly an hour after picking up a sack from them, we started cleaning and picking out the dead ones... And kept picking out more dead ones. Almost half of the sack was dead. The only thing worse than paying for dead crawfish is HORRIBLE customer service when notifying the seller of the situation. We called Courville's since this is very unlike what we are used to receiving from them. We were told that since it's been over 30 minutes, it's our fault that half of the sack is dead. We explained that the crawfish were kept correctly, asked if we could bring the crawfish back for replacement or refund, and was told no. We let Courville's know we will no longer purchase any crawfish from them and ended the call. After about 10 minutes, Courville's called back because they "didn't want to leave the situation as they did" and offered to give us an extra 10-15 pounds the next time we buys a sack, as a replacement for the dead ones today. Had the conversation of the second call happened during the first call, I probably wouldn't be writing this. I can get over being sold bad product, but I can't get over the horrible customer service we were given."
