"Best convenience store in Lydia!!"
"I just left here not long ago and I can’t remember the last time I was so appalled. I was waiting in the car with my handicapped father so they would finish cooking our food. When I went inside to get the food so I could grab something for him to drink, the clerk working there told me rather rudely and abruptly that “we had to leave.” She said he was “peeing in her parking-lot” He was in the front seat of his car peeing into a cup, which was his only option at that point being a 72 year old stroke and prostate cancer afflicted, so holding it in was much for difficult for him I hadn’t bright his brought his wheel chair that day, so making it to the bathroom wasn’t an option at that point. When I tried to politely express these concerns to her and that he is paralyzed, she rudely dismissed any of his problems as irrelevant, and once again demanded we quickly leave. God forbid that she or anyone in her family suffer from a stroke or cancer, rendering everyday activities/bodily functions extremely difficult. Perhaps she should experience some of the same hardships, (such as not being able to use the restroom unencumbered and on her own terms) and only then after several years of doing so, she might reevaluate her stance on not having compassion for the severely disabled. She may even come to the conclusion that in grand scheme of things, acting as a “Karen” should be deprioritized in the face of overcoming relentless hardship, while maintaining a positive demeanor in the process. My Father has been a role-model, spending most of his life as a respected physician, and has treated countless patients with exceptional care, even doing so at his own expense when many could not afford it; But she tried to act as if the man was a common sex offender, and didn’t care to hear otherwis. My stance is that if any of you do have anyone in your family or life suffering/struggling in the same way, you can stick up for them by refusing to shop here, and spread the news of how little regard they have for the handicapped and disabled."
