"I was a patient for a year and I just had to fire them. Please believe what the other reviews say. The doctor is so out of touch and needs to go back to school for a refresher. I explained to him that I believed I was misdiagnosed. He immediately dismissed me. I expected it though because he is a very old white man with a superiority complex probably. The only good thing was my old therapist Mechelle but she had to change jobs. I loved her so much! Now that she’s gone there really is no reason to stay. If you’re a young person, person of color, and or a woman please find another place that will better suit you. Good luck!"

"Good luck getting an appointment with Dr. Patrick Dowling (which requires talking to the receptionist and telling her any issues you are having and why you want to be seen (basically a consultation ..is this legal?) and then she discusses your problems with the doctor and then he decides if he wants to take you on as a patient. I was told yes he will see you, then no he wont see you a few weeks later. What a joke of a "doctor" and a bad reflection of a healthcare provider."

"Dr. Patrick Dowling refused to treat me because my diagnosis of ADHD happened when I was age 13 instead of age 9, which HE deemed as a fake diagnosis and refused to see me. He is 85 years old, so I am sure that his medical OPINIONS and 1950s medical license is myopic and outdated. There are numerous reasons a child would not be diagnosed with ADHD outside a specific time-window including limited access to healthcare, latent symptoms, positive symptoms that are overlooked, or simply a misdiagnosis. To treat me like a criminal and refuse to review or request MEDICAL RECORDS from my Pediatrician and Adolescent Psychiatrist lets me know that this doctor's credentials should be reviewed by the state board of Louisiana. If you are still here reading this, I think it is obvious that you should seek out another physician that does not have misplaced ethics."
