"This is the worst doctor's office I have ever dealt with. For one, their land line barely works, and they're always breaking up whenever I try talking to somebody there. Either that or nobody picks up, or it goes straight to voicemail. In order to talk to anybody, I had to get the nurse's cell phone number. That's very fishy to begin with... why can't you get your land line fixed after several months? Trying to hide from someone? The nurse, secretary, whatever you want to call her is ditzy and can never give me the correct answers as to when my next appointment is. They never call you about anything important you need to know about, like appointment reminders (asked the nurse once when my appointment was and she responded "today." Good thing I even asked at all), or if money is due to their office. Staff is all around very unprofessional and Dr. O'Connell himself is very rude. Doesn't believe me when I say what's causing a certain issue. Just thinks I'm a lazy good-for-nothing and that's why I ended up there. He's rude in general and seems like he doesn't believe in his patients. They also gave me incorrect information regarding the procedure I wanted. This was the nutritionist, however, and not Connell himself, but all of the staff is supposed to be knowledgeable. Or you could at least tell me to ask the doctor himself. They did not tell me that they had moved offices when I made my first appointment. I was almost late trying to find the new place. The only place they had their new address listed at the time was on Facebook, which I didn't know about until I was already at the old location and confused. Another thing that just rubs me the wrong way about this place is that it feels like nobody knows about them? I could look up any given bariatric surgeon and find tons of information and patient reviews. When I look up O'Connell and this office in general, there's little to no information. As someone that's dealt with these people for several months in a row, I'll let you know that if your insurance can cover a different surgeon, please choose them instead. I think anybody is better than here. If aloof rudeness is your thing, however, feel free to do business here."
