The Movement

The Movement, located at 1631 Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a health institution dedicated to strengthening the entire community through whole-person healthcare and education. Recently, they have welcomed Huffstatler as the Director of Development and have been featured in various reports and events, including the National Center for Medical Legal Partnership and HRSA's 2023 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Biennial Report. The Movement offers a wide range of services including primary care, women's health, sexual health, gender services, pediatrics, dentistry, behavioral health, harm reduction services, recoveryWorks, and nutrition. They also provide support for people living with HIV, including case management, legal services, food assistance, and peer support. The institution also runs initiatives such as Bonne Sante, Take Charge of Your Sexual Health, and The Movement. The Movement is a Health Center Program grantee and a deemed Public Health Service employer, with Federal Public Health Service deemed status for certain health-related claims.
