"The lab lady bruised up my arm. They make you do a 2nd Dr. visit before giving any medicine even just antibiotics, it makes no sense at all and is inconvenient. You can see your results already online. Didn't like going here I hope they change that."
"UPDATED (many changes since my last review years ago): STCHC is conveniently located in a number of locations around the city. I frequent the Magazine/Saint Andrew Corridor. Parking is available at both yet at Magazine & St. Andrew, as of 09/07/23, the parking lot is now fully repaved and marked. I know its been a long time coming and it is greatly appreciated. I've been a client for several years and the reception at both locations (especially Magazine/Andrew) have always been polite, efficient and professional. Scheduling is more flexible than in the past. Teleheath is available, convenient and optional. Facility waiting area and restrooms are clean and spacious. Wait time from arrival to services consistently improves. Appointment reminders are still relentless. Yet this is still due to individuals who are frequent late arrivals and/or no shows. So the good continue to suffer for the discourteous --no problem I've adjusted. Medical services remain outstanding. They have an array of new medical exams, specialties, testing and imaging capabilities. Each Doctor and especially Nurse Practitioner, Robin Fouquet, FNP-C (cue loud applause) are consummate professionals, knowledgeable with excellent listening skills which allows me to explain and ask necessary questions. I am SO glad she is on my team. Appointments are never rushed or mechanical. Yet we manage to complete exams within allotted slot with perhaps time to spare. Referrals are easily obtained when warranted, otherwise recommended alternative methods have worked just as well. The Patient Portal remains an utter disappointment. Void of ease regarding nativigation and information provided. I also use the on-site Pharmacy (now on Magazine St.) which communicates by (phone, text and/or email) directly with me rather than me using the Portal. Confirmations of Rx orders are a huge plus. The Pharmacy offers convenient pick-up, home delivery or postal delivery (without the big-box aggravation.) Pricing is equal to major competitors. The Pharmacy staff is excellent. The Pharmacy window staff (after survey responses) have improved tremendously. STCHC listens. The STCHC Ophthalmology clinic has moved to the St. Andrew location and I could not be happier. Dr. Costello & Julie are THE BEST. For other specialized services (lab work, etc.) the Columbia Parc site is a timesaver and have only received exemplary care. Finally, I remain eternally grateful & loyal for when I returned to NOLA to assist with the rebuilded, STCHC was open when there was hardly anything else available. Their history of service to the New Orleans community is ingrained.β"
"This place is a wild card. You can't make appointments in advance which is incredibly bizarre, but the least troubling of the issues. Some of it is just irritating and unusual, like being asked to fill out your entire medical history prior to each and every visit. Where does it go? No one knows, but it's clearly not saved in their portal. Aside from minor inconveniences, the downright scary thing about trusting them to be your medical provider is that on more than one occasion, things have just slipped their mind...like neglecting to call in prescriptions. That is totally unacceptable - they have a lot of problems to sort out and I hope that it doesn't come to a head at the expense of someone's health."
"St Thomas has been my primary care for about a year. They quickly assisted me with cardiology issues in the past. Whenever I need an appointment I call in the morning and they get me in the same day for a visit. Highly reccomend."
"I've been with St. Thomas for 13 months. The best Healthcare I have ever received! With the patient portal you can communicate with doctors at anytime, and they respond promptly. They have their own pharmacy, and they deliver, as well. Their offices are spacious and very clean. Lastly, the staff are very kind and treat everyone with respect t."
