Ochsner Health Center - LaPlace Medical

"I have only been in town for 1 month to care for my elderly parents. I have had to fight to get tests, medicine when my mother with Alzheimer’s is in pain and the timely call backs are absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. I would think society would treasure their elderly, but as I can see with this Dr (St. Martin), my parents are just an inconvenience and paycheck. I am NOT PLEASED. Even after several attempts to change this situation with him, giving him a chance to better his practice standards, he did not. I cannot respect that even if my parents love him. We will chose another care giver due to his negligence of the elderly! This makes my parents and I sad, as they have had enjoyed him him for many years."

"I am very dissatisfied with the treatment I received. I was diagnosed with an assumption that my lower lumbar, pelvic, knees going numb and foot pain with my already issue of fibromyalgia. This pain I am having has nothing to do with fibromyalgia it's pain in my spine. No x-ray was done and was given a shot, a patch and a assumption for a diagnosis. I urge you to go to any other hospital than this one cause you will only get an assumption. I had heard good things about this hospital ER and with my experience I will never go back even if I am dying."

Unlike other locations for Ochsner I have been to in the past it did not feel like I was being rushed in an out but rather I was really being cared for by a group of professionals who wanted to be at their job.
