"My name is published to deter my extreme negative review of Ocean hospital in Broussard. The patient abuse daily was unconscionable. I experienced it firsthand and observed it with other patients. You are made to feel that you are just a paycheck (Kim) . I had a mastectomy 10 days prior to admission and became addicted to oxycodone (thanks to Dr Henry Kaufman the butcher) and became depressed and suicidal. Oceans was not clean and the staffing abusive...very abusive. Please look to other help."

"DO NOT GO HERE !!! This place is unsanitary, no hot water, have to take cold showers. The ones that sit inside the nurses station are rude to say the least. Curtains falling off windows. It's pathetic. They need to be shut down. They responded with automated message. No thank you , I don't need to contact them , but I do promise to contact higher sources to insure something will be done and the facility be held accountable!!!"
"I absolutely can not recommend this place AT ALL. Staff here is very rude, does not pass messages along to patients from family members, and is borderline abusive and manipulative towards patients. Patients held longer than necessary to keep the beds filled. LOTS of false accusations and assumptions were thrown around and presented in a manipulative manner. I will say that not ALL staff was this way, a few of the staff were helpful. The way the patient was spoken to was absolutely out of line. Why this staff think it’s okay to speak to a patient who is in for depression they way they did is completely beyond me. Those people do not deserve their position in this field and it’s sickening to know that others who need help are being treated and spoken to this way. The meals given are absolutely unacceptable. There is no privacy for phone calls. Information is hidden from family who is listed to receive information. The bedding is hard like a rock and after release, the patient had very bad bed sores and a prominent red rash nearly the size of a basketball. I have much more complaints but I will simply leave it at this. Pay close attention to the few good reviews. They are skeptical and appear to be fake to say the least. The negative reviews are very telling and many of the same experiences were seen first hand. Go literally anywhere else but Oceans."
