"Horrible, HORRIBLE doctor. Went in with my son today to talk to her about issue concerning his performance in school. We came in an hour before closing and I know it wasn’t right but that is the only available time I can bring him in. As I was explaining the issue to her, she got upset and wouldn’t let me finish explaining the situation. She even stated “you people...” to her patient. VERY RUDE! Then she argued with me when I kept trying to politely explain the issue to her. She then call another nurse in to tell her side of the story like I was there to cause trouble. And when I was trying to talk to the nurse to te her why I came in, she kept cutting me off and didn’t let me finish. VERY RUDE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! We are never going back to her ever again. Wouldn’t listen to her patient concerns or problem. We have been going to Dr. Gupta, the one before her, for years and she was a wonderful doctor. She listen to everything we had to say and was very attentive. This one, not so much. What doctor argue with their patient? I don’t recommend anyone going to her at all."

"Very RUDE and non- professional doctor. Doesn’t know how to communicate with patients. Waited about an hour to be attended to and once I was attended, she told me “can’t attend to you today. Come tomorrow” and then left quickly to her office. Not to say they CLOSE AT 5 and I was asked to leave at 4:20."

"She is not personable at all,doesn't listen to you or your child when discussing any issue. And they don't answer their phones. Seriously need to find a new doctor. But we do love the nurses,they are always nice and fun to talk to. They should replace the doctor Fontnez with someone else."

"Maria Fontanez said my son was “faking seizures during sleep” because he had a “normal” 20 min awake EEG. He was diagnosed 18 months later when he fell asleep during a sleep deprived EEG. Unfortunately, he has remained refractory to medications, likely due to not being treated for his epilepsy early enough. He is now moderately intellectually disabled due to so many seizures. I would not trust this Physician’s opinion about any condition, her lack of care, education and compassion could have cost my child his life."
