"I shared the following feedback with The Well Clinic regarding my experience and to date have received no response. I wanted to inform you of a disappointing experience with Lydia Young. This was my first time at The Well Clinic and with Lydia. She made the comment that I seemed “impulsive” because I relocated for a relationship and had moved 13 times before college. As a minor, I really had no say over my parents moving our family, and I relocated for a relationship with someone I had dated for six years. I understand there is a line of questioning and diagnoses that need to be ruled in or out, but I think there could have been a more sensitive way to go about learning about my background and making the comment that I seem impulsive when she’s talked to me one time. I’ve seen numerous mental health professionals over the last 22 years for depression and have never been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which I also relayed to Lydia. I had hoped for a less judgmental approach, especially at a faith based organization. I actually cried on my way home from the appointment. For these reasons, I won’t be returning to The Well Clinic. As owners of Well Clinic, I would hope you’d want and welcome this feedback."
"I have never been so unimpressed with a doctor’s office - that SPECIALIZES in wellness and psychiatry!!!! I informed them that my prescription was out and instead of working with me like they implied they did, I received one zoom request and an attitude from the front desk - instead of understanding the severity of withdrawals from a medicine and wanting to work as BEST as possible for a client to find his or her solution. If you would like someone that is in her office more than 20 hours a week, I would say this is not the right spot for you. So disappointed. I have now found another doctor that does care for her clients :)"
"Total wast of time and money. We spent the first 45 mins filling out paperwork that could have easily been emailed to us the night before to fill out. Then after 30 minutes of meeting with a counselor, mainly him asking questions, he tells us that his schedule is too busy for new clients. We had to pay the full payment of $200 for what seemed to be an interview. I would not recommend this institution to ANYONE!"
"My experience with the clinic was frustrating. The nurse we worked with was very friendly and helpful on the first few appts. The doctor we worked with was okay, however, my child told me they only talked for half of one of the sessions, then he showed my child a Ted talk in another session....not exactly what I want to be paying for. But my major complaint is how the office is run...very unorganized. We had multiple miscommunications, one being the girl at the front told me one time and I remember this exactly, but entered another time, which resulted in the nurse leaving early. I had actually left a funeral early this day, checked my child out of school, driven 40 minutes and arrived 5 min late to be told the nurse left because we weren’t there. I threw a fit and she came back to see us but was not happy. She said “it’s okay, I got someone to take care of my child so I can take care of yours”. This was on her employee, yet she took it out on me. There was a miscommunication from the doctor on when I would get test results, which he did offer to do quicker than normal because he hadn’t communicated to me and I needed them for school. One of our visits wasn’t processed correctly financially - found this after I sat down with the girl to go through all of our account info, because their statements are impossible to read. Not once did anyone apologize for any of these instances. I think the girl at the front is trying her best but just has too many responsibilities. This clinic needs more office help and better communication. Needless to say, after multiple fall outs, we moved on to a different clinic."
