Reviews of Baton Rouge Behavioral Hospital
"What a waist of my time and everyones tax paying dollars. I went in to detox off of fentanyl. I was worried when i was the only patient there for that. I know if they dont know HOW to detox someone correctly it will be a ghost town. And it was.And that after all the years fentynal has been in the forefront of the drug epidemic youd think they would have identified that correlation. But youd think wrong. How can they possibly believe you can detox off fentanyl in 5 days !!!!???? The 5th day is when it just getting started. No fentanyl user I know is going to detox cold turkey. No wonder they make you put a 72 hr hold on yourself when you get there. Hello ?? That should be telling you something, like YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG !!!!! And to top off the fact you are locked in, sick as hell you have nurses and techs that are straight up hateful and busy on their phones."
"This place has gone to hell. No air conditioning in half rhe building. No toilets seats either. Dirty disgusting conditions. When you see a tech that just got there complaining they're about to throw up from the heat. Then proceeds to get a 10 dollar box fan to cool himself off,you know it's bad. No air conditioning or toilet seats? How can you get away with that in hospital? Cause people need help and don't have many options. Just filed a complaint with the health board. INSANE!!!!!! -10 β."
"I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services."
"I had a wonderful experience here. I came in for treatment for bipolar disorder and they were able to get me on medication that stabilized my condition. After my treatment I meet with Rene and and she was able to get me into an ipo program and a sober living house. Rene got me off the streets and I couldn't be more grateful."
"The Dr, staff they are trying their best to get my husband into a rehab hospital and they know they only have a certain day to do before his insurance is up. Also they really have a clean facility and to me it was comfortable as a visitor. I would also say that they try their best to do what In favor for their patient. With my husband he needs rehab they was going to let me drive him to a rehab facility myself but kept him in so that they may can find one to for sure take him so that his going straight from there to a rehab center cause once they leave there it's to late for them to do anything. As his wife I am pleased they are trying their best for him and if not said that once I get home I need to call a rehab everyday til one gets available.. I'm very happy with their help and they care enough to try their best to help him. IN MY husband's Case the emergency room sent him there and people have no options in that matter. But still they seem to be helping us the best they can. My husband gets to call me when it's phone time. They found a rehab for him to go right before he got discharged and that is a blessing. So happy he got help that he needed and I'm very pleased with the staff they were nice when I called and asked how my husband was doing when he stayed there. I guess it's all about different opinions but I know as for my husband they were able to help him. And his wife I'm thankful"
