"This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had . I scheduled this appointment weeks ahead and was told I was scheduled with a specific doctor who I was not going to actually see at the time of my appointment . I arrived 20 minutes early and the doors were locked at 1:40. I didn’t get into a room until 2:30 for a 2 o’clock appointment . I had my patient files sent over beforehand which they did not know were received . My patient documents obviously were not reviewed beforehand nor the new patient paperwork I filled out because it was automatically assumed I just needed basic vision care when there was selected information that indicated other vision needs. This shows a lack of organization and communication with a patients former doctor for information. Letting me see a doctor did not seem like a priority to them even after reading the charts and realizing I had extensive eye issues ( which could have been figured out through proper communication for a first time patient ) . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ."
"Entire staff had attitudes. I was given my glasses to try on at the front entrance, while standing up. She asked if I can see and sent me on my way. Later I noticed that my glasses was the wrong prescription. I went back and the staff made me feel as though I was wrong. I would not recommend this business to anyone. In fact stay clear of this place. If most of your reviews says the same thing then we know the common denominator. I will gladly take my business elsewhere."
"I love the crew there in Plaquemine. They are always friendly and fun to be around. They work with you on getting everything you need in a quick and efficient manner. I will definitely continue to bring my family to them for all our eye care needs."
"My grand daughter had an appointment today to pick out frames she sat two hours and had numerous people go ahead of her. She is a child but she recognized the unprofessional service. She is eleven years old and from what she told me about your service and professionalism you need to just say you have a problem with serving some people. I'm pretty sure you have heard this before."
"I been going here off and on since I was a kid the service has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Update I went to southern eye care a couple of months ago the staff had nasty attitude. From the lady that check me and the lady that dilated my eyes. The eye doctor was nice tho but I don't think I ever do business at this establishments again."
