"Thanks to Dr. Edith Mbagmu she to is very caring and quick with assessing my son needs. We are very grateful for her and as well as the nurses, and the phlebotomists, special thanks to Kenny Patterson."
"The nurse practitioner trakissa is horrible she lacks empathy .. I went there for my blood pressure medicine that she still failed to prescribe me. She’s horrible she didn’t care what was going on with me .. I gave them 3 stars because of my doctor mbagwu I would’ve gave her 5 stars she’s the best."
"I went to 4 different Doctors for my symptoms and it seems that Mrs Fowler was the only one that helped me get some relief. Not only were my symptoms treated but everyone was so nice and caring. Mrs Fowler really knew her stuff and she educated me as well. If you’re thinking about making an appointment you should not hesitate."
"Office management does not have a clear idea of what happens in the clinic. I have had two very difficult issues and neither were handled properly. Policies are not made and followed with mindfulness to the patient. Considering I as a patient am/have trusted this medical facility with my health this has made me question the level of care that I am recieving. Moreover, it takes 3 months to get in; this is simply not ideal for a PC physician."
"Doctor Fowler seemed more interested in the "gaps of my Healthcare" which there aren't any, my records did not transfer into the system. When I could not remember the dosages of the several medications I am on for neuropathy, joint pain, hypothyroidism, bi polar, depression, anxiety, anemia, and gerd she became very frustrated with me and walked out the room. I ended up pulling my medication up on the walgreens app so she could refill my medication. She rolled her eyes at me when I said "no thank you" to the covid vaccine and flu shot. Nothing was discussed concerning my continued struggle and pain with what my last doctor thought may be fibromyalgia, my main concern. She did however, refer me to a rheumatologist who has not yet called to schedule an appointment with me. She gave me attitude when I called her back into the office, bc I did not feel like I was finished expressing my health concerns to her. Then she said she "spent 20 mins with me, and that is the correct time allotted to spend with a patient" I was appalled that the health, life, and well being of a person was only worth 20 mins of her time. Then she asked me what other issues I would like to discuss with her, all while making uncomfortably long eye contact. By this point I could tell she was angry with me and I felt like she was attempting to make me feel uncomfortable. I asked her about an alternative medication for fibromyalgia that my old doctor had mentioned, but insurance would require me to try the medication I was on first. She rolled her eyes again and sucked her teeth. I completely forgot to ask her to refill my muscle relaxers and for nicotine patches because I was set so off balance, and I felt so uncomfortable. I ended up breaking down in tears. My former doctor unexpectedly stopped practicing, and I was supposed to see the rheumatologist at his practice when her office got set up, which is why I was not already on a waiting list to see a rheumatologist. I have been dealing with joint pain, weakness, muscle stiffness, fatigue, swelling, and burning sensations in my legs since March. It has been tough to go to work and maintain a normal lifestyle since all this began. I felt like she did not care about any of that, or exploring other options for treatment. She expects me to be on an 8 month waiting list to see a rheumatologist. Life doesn't always go as expected, and as of now I am a Medicaid patient. The private insurance from my new job as the manager of a local restoration business will go into effect in January. Maybe then I will get the health care I, and every other human being, deserves. Being in the disaster recovery industry I help restore peoples homes, and if one of my employees treated a distraught homeowner how she treated me there would be consequences for that employee. As a medical professional she is treating people's bodies, the temple for the soul. Doctor Fowler's job is much more complex and sensitive than mine, and I feel she should treat patients with the same understanding, kindness, and respect I try to give all my customers. Our jobs aren't that different, we both deal with scared people who have been through some kind of trauma, and practicing love, patience, and understanding seems to me like the best route to take. I got none of that from her. Thank you for your time."
