"My husband needed urgent care so we went to the best in Orange, TX, Exceptional Emergency Center on 16th St. We had been there twice before and Dr. Evans remembered us and greeted us warmly. Due to the type of problem my husband was having, the nursing staff jumped right in to begin his testing and care. They were not worried like so many other places about signing in or insurance first. His care was a priority. Everything was explained and we were treated like family. When he was cleared to eat by Dr. Evans, our nurse, Larissa (hope I got it right) fixed him mac and cheese and a Gatorade. She also got me something as we had not had supper. We also were under the care of Haven, I believe, and Katie. If I forgot anyone I am sorry but they were all great. Thank the Lord all was well but we got a followup call from Dr. Evans to make sure my husband was okay and repeated advice to followup with our PCP snd specialist. Thank all of you guys at Exceptional Emergency Center.!!"
"I would recommend this emergency room to anyone and everyone ! The doctor was fast efficient friendly and overall amazingly helpful. The nurse was patient, kind, and funny and the technician made it a blast. They absolutely made me and my little one feel at ease! The receptionist gave her little toys to keep her happy so she didn’t scream and cry the whole time ❤️ overall an amazing experience anytime I go."
"My care team at Exceptional Emergency Center -Orange was absolutely wonderful. Jenna greeted me with kindness and concern when I arrived. My nurse, Terri took her time and explained everything that was going on, she continually checked on me and kept me updated on what was happening. I needed X-rays and some scans and the radiologist, Chrissy had that all under control and made that experience as pleasant as she possibly could. Dr Evans eased my concerns with his professionalism."
"Went in for severe flu like symptoms and was later diagnosed with the flu. Very poor patient care by nurse Katie. She did not have very good bed side manner. Seemed as if i was almost a burden. I was taking a little bit of time to respond to her questions, as I was not feeling the best, when she proceeded to ask me if my ears were working okay…. The whole time she talked to me as if I was a child not an adult. She made annoyed facial expressions when I would respond, or took longer to respond. I told her my body aches were a 7/10 and asked if I could lay on a bed instead of sitting in the hard chair to wait for my test results which I wasn’t allowed even though there was no one else in the facility. This will be my last time going to this facility. I’m a highly disappointed as I also work in the healthcare industry and couldn’t imagine treating my patients in such manner."
"Thank you to those that took wonderful care of my 90 year old father. He was treated so kindly and they kept him comfortable while we were there. They made sure that he had all of the proper testing done for his best care. We have used Exceptional Care many times and we are always thankful for the smooth visit, getting us in and out quickly. Thank you, Jamie Freeman"
