"After a 2 hour wait for my 3rd visit, I left without seeing the doctor. The first and second visits to her she was as rude and disrespectful. In the time I’ve waisted waiting for her I could drive to another pain management dr in Beaumont. I will be requesting my medical records and not going back. I’d like to bill her for the two hours of my life I will never get back. I would not recommend her to anyone."
"I found that the nurses here were the very best in their field. they’re very professional and caring. They’re always friendly and helping above and beyond!! If I had to go anywhere else I would hope I can bring all the nurses with me because they are a credit to their field. In all of my experiences with the doctors I have had in the past I wish I would’ve had these nurses taking care of me."
"My mother had complications from a surgery & was admitted into the hospital. Due to her being admitted into the hospital, she missed her appointment. The office has no compassion for this type of situation. They did not even care to document that she was in the hospital. Then when we try to reschedule her appointment, the doctor is out of the office for 2 weeks! Dr Vu you need a nurse practitioner or someone to fill-in for you to accommodate unforeseen situations such as my Mother's! ! She has to be without medicine until her appointment can be rescheduled, which is not until almost 3 weeks after you return!"
"Great Service! I have walked in numerous times. Doctor is very compassionate and thorough. I have referred numerous family members and would recommend this facility to anyone. I have been to other urgent care centers and what i like most about this one is caring Doctors and upfront costs."
"I decided to go to this new Urgent Care located near my house (Upfront Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine 1718 N Martin Luther King Hwy) instead of going to the one where I had been before. When I arrived I was the only patient. The nurse took 15 or more minutes to input my insurance information then brought me to the back to take my vitals. There were no computers or charts, she wrote my vitals, medical information, and medicines on a sticky note then brought me back to a room. The doctor came in after a while and asked my symptoms. She had no chart, did not know my name, any of the medications I was on or medical issues I was previously diagnosed with. After telling her my symptoms (light headed, dizzy, weak, fatigued) she ordered me to take a pregnancy test, draw blood, and do an EKG. After telling her there was no way I was pregnant (you have to have sex to be pregnant) she told me “But you have the symptoms.” I should have told her then the baby would be an immaculate conception. For the pregnancy test she gave me a bathroom cup (3oz Dixie cup) to urinate in. Any women who has had to give a urine sample knows you need a bigger cup than that, we don't have something to aim with! The bathroom she directed me to use was outside in the lobby right when you walk through the front doors. By this time I had been there over an hour and the lobby had filled with people. I had to walk through the lobby with a cup full of pee for a test that I knew the answer to. I do not get embarrassed easily but this was one of those times. I also told her blood work she wanted was not necessary and that it was probably a sinus infection. I felt bullied into getting these tests done. I actually had time to take a nap in the room while waiting for the nurse and doctor to do the EKG, which they had trouble figuring out how to run. After all this, the nurse comes in with a shot that was for a different patient. If not for me being so angry at the poor patient care and refusing the shot she would have injected me. The doctor finally said I could leave, gave me no diagnosis or prescription. I ended up having someone drive me to a different doctor the following morning since I woke up feeling even worse. Next afternoon I got a call from a doctor’s office I did not recognize asking to make an appointment for me. Apparently the doctor at Upfront Urgent Care sent a referral to a cardiologist to “follow up on my visit” although no problems or irregularities were found in the EKG. I could have told them that! To me, it felt like they wanted to do the most services/tests they could while I was there. It was a waste of a copay and my insurance. Needless to say I will not be back there again."
