Reviews of QuickCARE of Ruston
"ZERO STARS if I could!! I went around noon. I’ve been congested for almost a week now and over the counter meds aren’t working. I felt terrible! I tried this place even after reading the reviews and reviews are accurate. I seen Michael Hendricks. He sent me to the green clinic for a X-ray and bloodwork for pneumonia. He wouldn’t write a prescription for me until all tests came back. He said results take about an hour or so. They would call me and then write a prescription based on the test results. So at around 4, I started calling. Results weren’t in. Called around 5:30, same thing. The clinic closed, I still feel terrible. I called and was told to go to the ER if I felt worse. THAT WAS MY REASON FOR COMING TO RUSTON QUICK CARE !! The clinic called the following day at approx 11:30 to say it was a bad viral infection and there’s no prescription to write. No antibiotics or anything. I wasted my copay here. They charged my insurance for NOTHING. I’m almost 3 hours away from home and came here for care for nothing. Just told to follow up with my primary care physician in Texas. I should’ve went there anyway. Do not waste your time coming to this place. I’m still congested. I still need to be seen by someone with good medical knowledge. This isn’t it. Then it’s called quick care and I didn’t even hear from them until the next day. TERRIBLE!!! There’s a bigger lady with freckles at the front desk who talks to her friends while you wait and then she has an attitude when she talks to you. Most everyone else is nice and professional for the most part. I went and paid for a service I didn’t receive. Steer clear!!"
"Have been trying to get them to look into billing and insurance for almost a year. They listed my daughter's birthdate wrong on her file and try to bill me for the visit. Can never get anyone on the phone to help. Finally did and got a print out of the insurance denial, only to discover the mistake is on their end."
"If i could give ZERO stars I would.!!! The lady at the front desk was so rude and didn’t even greet me as I walked in I proceeded to tell her the problems I was having and she said they provide those services but then turns around and says we don’t provide those services unless needed.. Clearly I need the services if im here.. then a lady from the back walks in and they start whispering about me in my face.. the lady from the back just kept staring at me.. Nobody wants to feel unwelcome so I grabbed my belongings and left."
"I had terrible experiences with Wes who told me to "dry up" my breastmilk because I had a UTI and needed antibiotics. He was googling antibiotics while I was using the Infant Risk app. Then the same thing happened when I had pneumonia. I specifically don't go to quick care because of him. The nurse Wendy is so sweet and validated my every feelings. I think in order to be a practicing doctor you have to know your material. This all did happen about 8 months ago, but never thought to make a review. Lactating mothers, please advise before going here. I'm so glad I had the knowledge I did. Mothers should never stop breastfeeding, if anything they can pump and dump. Please train your staff. The ONLY doctors worth seeing are Johnathan Baines and Haley. I would suggest a breastfeeding course. Luckily, I was able to breastfeed my daughter past a year after Wes tried taking that when my daughter was barely 6 months."
"The physician assisting us, Haley, was very knowledgeable and spot on with diagnosing my son. She seems well seasoned in her field. I had seen her a few months ago and she quickly diagnosed me before my symptoms really showed up (shingles). The nurse, Tonya, goes beyond, shows compassion and is very helpful. The staff moves fairly quickly to get you seen. *This is my third time in this clinic."
