"This place has great potential and is a decent park ! This park has several baseball fields, a walking trail, a gymnasium, a pavilion with a bench, some benches scattered around the park, lots of beautiful trees giving shade, a double tennis court, a play set with slides, and it is right on side of a library. This park has tons of green space for picnics or to run around and play. This park is conveniently located and can be accessed from Barataria or Ames blvd. Just turn on Belle Terre Road from either aforementioned streets."

"I go to the library often to get on the computer or to do online schoolwork in an academic setting so I walk by this park a lot. I used to play here as a kid...I always wanted to play baseball tho...but I was long and lanky so basketball made it happen for me. Whenever I am here I try to pick up any litter cause I hate to see parks with trash when trashcans are clearly available."
"Fun place to hang out, eat, and play. Lots of kids come out to play at the playground. The playground is protected by a gate from athletic sports events. The overall design is not so perfect. It has two nice large fields yet there may be bugs and insects on their benches."
