"The nice sweet Dr McCommon has now spoken so disrespectfully to my elderly mother on two occasions , I am leaving a review ,which is very uncommon for me. This doctor wants to prescribe blood pressure meds , and wants to dismiss my mother’s blood pressure of 109/60 as not too low . Meanwhile my mother doesn’t have the energy to stay out of bed for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time , has nervous shakes , and dizzy spells. But after a couple of weeks of calling and coming in to see Dr McCommon, she gets the dosage down to where her pressure is around 120/75 and she feels 100% better . Walking into her appointment today ,ready to thank the Dr for getting the dosage to where it seems to be working great. They take their payment , weigh my mother , and take her blood pressure, for Dr McCommon to come in and tell her she doesn’t want to be her Dr anymore , then wants to listen to her heart , then told her “you can go now.” I am angry as you can imagine with this woman’s rudeness , and I highly question a Dr who doesn’t listen to how her patient is reacting to medicine . My Mother was going to praise this woman this morning and doesn’t get to say a word. She lost two patients today . I highly recommend Dr Shah in Bossier , much more Professional."
"I’ve never left a review for anything, but the only reason I’m giving two stars is because of one of the ladies up front and one of the nurses I’ve had. We’ve seen Dr. McCommon in Plain dealing and Loved her so we figured we’d give Jere a try. We’ve given her chance after chance for at least two years and while she’s good with my children, when it comes to adults, me and my mother both felt like she didn’t care. She doesn’t make eye contact at all and while I understand they may be booked fully and mental health may not be such a big concern for her, she could still learn some empathetic bedside manners regardless. I brought my nephew in when I got temporary custody of him after seeing her for two years and she didn’t even recognize who I was and that she’s been my doctor for the past two years. I’m currently in the process of switching to the doctor I had as a teen. I really hope that she either gets more help to be more attentive to her patients, or if it’s a personal issue she retires from medicine and finds her real passion. I’ve had so many more uncomfortable experiences here but I’m officially done giving them chances. Majority of the time when I’ve called to get my children in because they’re rarely sick but when they are I call. I have to take them to quick care because they never have any openings.A new office doesn’t mean it’s a caring office so just beware."
"I first saw Dr. Jere when I was younger late teens but when I started experiencing some more severe issues I made an appointment for the first time in about four to five years. The new office is nice but the office administration does not keep up with things as they should. I had to have blood work done in office on the day of my appointment. I struggle with anxiety (they have history of) so I voiced to their phlebotomist I needed a countdown so I don’t jump. My wishes were ignored and I asked her if she heard me and she blatantly ignored me making me feel crazy. I began to have a panic attack because the woman ignored my first request then would not speak to me. When I made it back to my room they told me the practice manager would come discuss the situation with me. She came in while I was still experiencing my panic attack and told me she already spoke to the phlebotomist and she said she was “taken back because she tested positive for Covid”. I was very confused as to how me testing positive for Covid had her taken back and she couldn’t accommodate my wishes. The practice manager then switched the topic to my anxiety being a lot and offered me a brown paper bag. At that point I did everything I could to get out of that building. I had to come back today to get my lab results and I previously made them aware I’d no longer be seeking services through them. When Dr Jere came in she felt the need to verbalize she didn’t know why I was still upset. I will never use a doctors office who’s phlebotomist will not listen to a simple request or doctors that won’t have compassion for my personal feelings and experiences in their office."
"these women an staff here are pretty awesome,, always so respectful to their patients,, can be seen same day, they do regular vaccinations,, they are in middle of remodeling to make it more bigger!! very quiet in here!"
"I see Thompson and she is extremely thorough, listens to concerns, communicates well with patients, out of this world bedside manner and she comes up with a plan with you right then and executes it immediately. I was so impressed I have been suggesting her to everyone I know who is unhappy with their doctor"
