"Only a poor review because the receptionist & nurse was rude when I came in extremely paranoid and stressing over the thought of a miscarriage. All I asked was to hear the baby & the nurse chose to have an attitude saying you can’t feel your baby at 18weeks second pregnancy & seemingly making me feel crazy. It’s a 24 hr unit in which my doctor told me to go to anytime. Yet they treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about & an inconvenience to their time. Other than those two good experience!"

"My wife was in labor for a little over 24 hours. A lot of things could have made that revolution around the sun more stressful than it already was considering the fact that she was in active labor. But the ladies (and several men) in the labor unit as well as in the NICU made our experience as comfortable and stress free as possible. Also if you’re going into labor and your nurse is a young lady named Emme then just know that you’re in the best hands you could possibly be in. She’s the bee’s knees. Here’s a pic our baby just to add cuteness."

"I went into labor Jan 11 2024. I was told to go to st marys that it's my only option since my local hospital wasn't equipped to handle my heart issues. We drove 2 hours and I was admitted immediately. The nurses were by far a 10/10 stars. Anna was the best. Every nurse I had at st Mary's were amazing. Now why didn't I rate the hospital and service a 5/5 star? Because I had Dr. Daniel Core tell me I was 100% going to die. Told me I needed to contact my friends and family and make arrangements that I would absolutely not make it out of labor alive. Now I get by medical standards I probably should have died but obviously I didn't or I wouldn't be leaving a review. Dr core was certain I wasn't going to make it out alive and had me believing it too and had me call my kids and tell them I loved them one last time. Maybe someone should tell him not to tell someone that it's 100% without a doubt you are going to die. Maybe leave it at 95% or heck even 99% but that extra 1% matters especially coming from someone who is suppose to be highly educated and knows more about medical stuff than I do. Now I'm mainly writing this review so yall can tell this Dr core that I did in fact survive labor. I'm sure he knows by now but I do not appreciate having to call and worry my entire family especially my kids that they will never see me again."

"By far my best hospital experience when having a baby! My Drs were amazing they called to check on us the day after we came home making sure the trouble I had with getting my meds were resolved the nurses were above and beyond caring and so nice... I would absolutely recommend this hospital!!!! I have had bad hospital experiences and are beyond greayful for this hospital and it's staff 10 stars in my opinion!!!!"

"This is the absolute best hospital, my son was seen by drs and the emergency room here in Tx and they had no idea what was going on so they brushed us off. I took my son to the emergency room at UT Tyler and they knew he needed to be at a children’s hospital. They called and Oschners took him immediately. While we were waiting for transport from Tyler to Shreveport the team there has everyone on board and familiar with what was going on. By the time re arrived at the hospital they were ready and waiting for us. They welcomed us with their amazing hospitality and smiles. I was informed on every move they were making to help my son. I met with so many different drs and nurses and they were all very helpful and kind. If I didn’t understand something they explained it to where I did understand it. They listen and they truly care, I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they have done for my son!"
