"This hotel exceeded my expectations. I chose it because the reviews were good and it was in a prime location for Mardi Gras. I would absolutely stay here again. Staff was very friendly! Rooms were clean. It's a 5-10 minute walk to many attractions, shopping, Bourbon St, parades, etc. Breakfast included was convenient for our busy itinerary."
"Location was great, room was clean. Tub wouldn't drain water. breakfast /coffee is decent enough to cure hangovers. upon arrival at 4am, a man began to expose himself to our group (female only) right outside the hotel door and hotel security was literally asleep in her chair. when we woke her up she said that's none of her business. it was very uncomfortable for us but we managed. $50 parking per day. vending machines. good for the price."
"Probably the best best Western I've ever stayed at. Even as a platinum member. The only down fall is the parking (at the time, 35 dollars extra), and the gym (extra charge as well) was not on site. My biggest concern was going to be the parking due the current crime climate in New orleans, but Jeffery found an excellent spot and explained/showed he had access to regularly monitor the location to put us at ease. The breakfast was your typical best Western type, with an automatic pancake machine instead of waffles, had fresh fruit, sausage, eggs, bacon, and even potatoes. (Menu changes weeks vs. Weekends) location was close enough to bourbon st but not to the point of sleep or security concerns. Even water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Even got the girlfriend slap of approval. Lol"
"My wife and I have been staying here whenever we visit New Orleans since 2013. Great location as you can do most of your sightseeing on foot! The rooms are very clean, and service has always been top-notch. Another great thing is that there is a store 2 minute walk away for snacks, alcohol, souvenirs, tobacco, and many other convenient items, right on the corner of Canal and Magazine Streets. The hotel also has a great little breakfast buffet!!"
