"My friend and I stayed at this hotel because we had a very early morning flight. We picked this hotel because it is less than 10 mins away from the airport and they have a shuttle service to the airport. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable, and good size. Staff and shuttle bus driver are very friendly."
"My experience going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras supposed to be exciting and fun. More than reasonable turned into a disaster. When I went in the hotel for late check in due to my flight. I called the hotel and let them know that my flight delayed. The representative stated that she “wrote” a note for the night shift. When I got there that night the representative stated that I didn’t let her know that I was doing a late check in. However she continued to tell me she couldn’t accommodate me on the days that were already paid for. Further more, the rooms where dirty filled with spiders. For $950 I expected to be treated with care. The lady acted like she didn’t care and repeatedly told my sister and I that she couldn’t do anything about it. Never asked me for assistance or change my rooms."
"Probably the worse IHG brand experience I've ever had. As a Diamond Elite member, I'm a frequent customer of the chain. The operations at this location are horrible. Upon check-in, they failed to connect my rewards account with my stay. Although the stay was registered on my app, they still did not have the technical expertise to update thier system. After 3 calls over 3 different days, they still failed. On the last call, I was told that after checkout, there's nothing they could to credit my stay. One 5 minute call to the main IHG number fixed it. They also failed to properly discount a qualified tax free stay. Seems they don't know exactly what they need from a customer to bill such a stay. The business center computers did not work the first day; the staff didn't know how to resolve the problem. It took 3 calls over an hour to finally stock my room full of coffee pods, which was overlooked during cleaning. Even after confirming at checkout, the staff still billed the wrong credit card. The management was never available to take calls to fix any of these issues. Overall, the staff seems poorly trained and not willing to assist with anything. The property is well maintained and typical of expected IHG quality, but the service is very poor. I would recommend to stay clear of this location. There are plenty of better options in the immediate area."
"I use this hotel once a month for work offshore. Fantastoc location and terrific staff BUT,,,,,,,,,, Let's talk about the bar. Management needs to spend some money and set your bar staff up for success....FIRST the bar stools are too short. OR the bar is too tall. I'm 6 foot 2 and the bar comes between my chest and my chin. I look and feel like I'm 12 years old sitting with my daddy. You should see how uncomfortaable the small women are. COMMON MANAGEMENT, spend some money and make this right. Second,,, your poor bartender has no credit card machine to run tickets on. He has to leave the bar unattended and go to the hotel lobby to run a credit card... Yall that's just poor!! Please set your people up for success and get them the equipment they need to represent you in the proper way. Your people are amazing,,,,, give them some support."
"It's close to the airport which is nice and the beds are pretty comfortable. The biggest problem is that there was no hot water at all. I let the shower run for 10 minutes in hopes that it would warm up a little, but it remained ice cold. I work outside all day and wanted to warm up in the shower afterward but was unable to. Apparently, this hotel hasn't had hot water since hurricane Ida came through, all the way back in 2021."
