Reviews of Cajun Heritage R\V Park
"In the middle of the Atchafalaya basin corridor. This park is well worth the natural experience. Full hookups, good At&t signal and 25 ish channels off a powered antenna. Stayed here twice and plan on staying here again."
"This place is a rv park. The place is nice and the host is very friendly ,Very quiet but we are in the middle of winter. Beautiful clean store with so many options. What I did not like about this park was the laundry room . Very dirty. I did not want to pour my soap into the dispenser. i actually wiped it down myself. The floor was dirty, same with bathrooms . Need cleaning big time and some paint would not hurt."
"We stopped here for 3 days during Thanksgiving. It was nice, the gravel sites are well maintained, there is a small convenience store inside the front office. The only downside I experienced was lots of people in their golf carts riding back and forth with the music blaring loudly. This was a constant ALL DAY and into the evening/night. Most of the music was extremely offensive. But this was not an issue with the campground itself, just some of the people that were there. Overall, I did enjoy Cajun Heritage and would probably return. Maybe the owners should create a noise level policy because not everyone needs to hear the words to outside music clearly over the television inside their RV."
"We were impressed how big the sites were. Great space. We registered for site 40, but when we arrived we realized it didn’t have much shade, we asked to use another, and during the week they weren’t packed so they gave us site 43. Beautiful trees, Fabulous shade! The camp host were very friendly and welcoming. Pats Fisherman’s Wharf was an excellent restaurant 20 minutes away, and if you sit outside for lunch there’s a gator named George swimming outside hoping for bread, we had fun with that. (for lunch not after dark the Louisiana skeeters will carry you away).. Beautiful site, would stay again!"
"Great place! Looks more like a state park. Beautiful trees, so you may not get satellite reception. Spacious gravel sites. We used it as an overnight travel stop, but a longer stay would be very pleasant. We have a 40' ft DP which fit, with our towed car, very well on site 89 without unhooking the car. If you go into site 89 keep to the extreme right side (outside dual on the grass) and you will be level. Use caution coming out for the culvert as you turn left on the paved road. It's tight but just turn wide and you're OK. Propane available. The people are great! The small store and office are very nice. We will be back."
