"I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my mother, Irene Furlow, received at Beaumont Emergency Hospital. Over several visits, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the team, particularly Rachel, Steve, and Jennifer, were not just professionals but also compassionate individuals who truly care about their patients. Their bedside manner was nothing short of amazing, providing not only medical assistance but also emotional support during what can be stressful times. My mother always speaks highly of Rachel, Steve, and Jennifer, and it's clear why. Their dedication to their work and genuine concern for patients' welfare shine through in everything they do. They treated my mother with dignity, respect, and kindness, making her feel valued and reassured throughout her stay. Beaumont Emergency Hospital is more than just a medical facility; it's a place where patients receive top-notch medical care coupled with genuine human connection. I wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of emergency medical services. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care and compassion."
"I have had a good experience here many times. Tonight has made it to where I will never come to this facility again. Very inconsiderate/dismissive of my pain. I come here and have good insurance and there's always a large bill. Some people like me though want to pay this premium, so they don't have to sit in a crowded emergency room. Also, so they will get premium care and someone listen to them in manage whatever ailment they have efficiently and with compassion. This was not my experience tonight. I have been sick since Christmas with the typical winter time upper respiratory. Tonight I stumbled out of my bed to get something to soothe my throat and knocked a large heavy marble statue onto my foot. After X-Ray it was confirmed that I have a badly broken toe. It is currently Dec 30th and we are entering into a very long holiday weekend. I was told that I need to go to an orthopedist or Beaumont Bone and Joint. With Monday being New Year's Day and then opening on Tuesday, I probably will not be able to get an appointment with them for quite some time. After hearing with doctor had to say about my foot, he stated that he was going to prescribe me ibuprofen and tramadol. I told them I have ibuprofen at home 800 mg prescription and tramadol does not work for me, as it gives me a bad skin rash. I just now how large tumor removed my abdomen for ovarian cancer back in October, so I'm very aware on how pain is managed. I told the doctor to because of the long weekend, I did not want to suffer with a broken bone and nothing to manage the pain. He still refused and walked out quickly like he was no longer concerned with me and I was a number to be pushed out the door. A very sweet nurse came in to tape up my toe. Once she got the tape on she squeezed my broken toe so hard causing me to cry out in pain. My foot immediately started throbbing and tears were streaming down my eyes. She quickly apologized and said she had no control over what the doctor does. She said that she knew I was in pain because she has had a broken toe before as well. I cannot believe that they are going to send me home with nothing to manage my pain over a long holiday weekend and potentially even longer and I have a broken bone. Now I know why the fentanyl crisis is so bad. People that have legitimate need for some sort of pain management are having to in desperation seek it elsewhere, endangering their lives. This is crazy. I have never been treated so poorly. I have a broken bone. I tell a doctor that I'm going to need something to manage my pain until I can get into a doctor on Tuesday or even later and he dismisses it like it's nothing. Then they come in a squeeze my broken toe making it even worse. When my insurance calls me about this claim I am going to complain about my treatment. After looking at my discarge papers, they are charging for things they did not do. It says they placed a special shoe (they did not). It gives instructions on how to tape a broken toe in my discharge papers. It says to place a cotton ball between the broken toe to prevent irritation. They simply taped my toes together squeezing them hardly. No wonder she hurt me so bad! I would have done better off to staying at home. Now I'm going to have to suffer for 4 or five days with no pain management over New Years. With this so badly hurting and broken at a joint, I'm going to be incapacitated. Very disappointing this time here they were not considerate, not caring, and I left in worse pain than I came with. My husband and I have come here for years. They even diagnosed my husband's bladder cancer. He stayed in the inpatient hospital for several days. We were regulars. Tonight changed that. I will never return here again and I suggest that readers of this review do not as well. Usually you get you pay for, but not in this circumstance. Waste of time to have my concerns and pain brushed away like it's nothing, then re-injured. Not looking forward to my holiday weekend of misery and pain. ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!"
"My daughter had an allergic reaction on Halloween night and the staff was so kind, they got us in and out and the Dr. Even called to check back up on her a few days later. Great staff and exceptional care!"
"I got into an ATV accident and came in for an X-ray. The workers were very kinda and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The radiologist informed me on everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. The nurses were very kind too! Everything went by pretty fast."
"I don’t have enough words to describe how excellent the care was. It was clean, the staff was excellent, and I actually felt heard and cared for. We had the best RN, Steve who was amazing and Dr. Foutz addressed every concern and more. Super thankful for a positive experience without healthcare system. ❤️"
