"2 minutes ago on Google I have been helping a friend who had a tough living situation. She needed somewhere to go for a night or two and she chose the Economy Lodge, here in Gonzales, Louisiana. I had been driving back-and-forth because I only live down the street from the hotel, I had been driving back-and-forth to bring her things like necessities like toilet paper, food whatever she needed while she was staying in the hotel. Let’s just start by saying they had a number of shady characters not only working there but also staying there. Well, the next morning, when I went to see if they needed anything; I got word that I was no longer allowed on the property because I was prostituting out of his motel! I have never in my life! I didn’t even stay there. Not to mention, you should see some of the characters working there! I even tried speaking to the owner that was so polite at checking in, now won’t even make eye contact with me. I drive a car with retired military tags on it, I have no background record, I don’t ever get into any trouble, and I have never in my life sold, traded, or had to do anything with my body in order to get anything I’ve ever needed by the Grace of (whatever you choose) God! I want an apology."

"Worth the price. A friendly Inn keeper, and daily room cleaning. AC in the wall is nice and cold, and leaves shampoo and bars everyday. Highly recommended if you need a good place with a budget"

"After a house fire took everything we owned me, my friend & her son found this to be the most affordable & closest place to stay. You can noticeably see the improvements made. There was very nice & super clean mini fridge & microwave in our room along w/a large flat screen. Very Clean linens. Plenty of Pillows that were very comfortable & fluffy. I was a little concerned about safety but we had no issues. Very close to food establishments that deliver. Worth the low economic price."
