"Came home from the store to have no internet. Found the internet cable going from the in ground box in the back yard to the house chewed through. Called optimum and they won’t come out till the 12th of this month. Glad to see a real sense of urgency to take care of their customers."

"We’ve had optimum for about 8 months. Not only is this the worst internet out there because every time there’s a storm the WiFi goes out. But the customer service is terrible. We’ve been on the phone all day getting sent back and forth from department to department. No one has helped us at all. We’ve been on the phone since 7AM and it is currently 3:30PM and we are still getting a run around answer because this place is run by incompetent people. No one has fixed the issue and we are still on the phone with them. DONT GET OPTIMUM"

"Their all about the money. They have had my approved ACP certificate for 3 months. They have denied my enrollment twice by saying their information does not match. Will not give specific information about what's incorrect. If you can figure this out your smarter then me"

"I've been a customer for the last four years. I've had many issues with them, but the internet performance is solid. To get the lowest price, you have to use your own hardware. It might be expensive up front, but you save over time. While they were Suddenlink, they did offer 1Gbps data rates, but only installed hardware that supported 600 Mbps. Make sure you do your speed-tests if you have their hardware. I cancelled service with them because they failed to remove fees for services they did not provide. They care deeply about seizing your money."

"Absolutely the work customer service and billing dept. I have continued being billed for services that I cancelled 8 months ago. Also, they have a random bank account for someone else on file that they keep trying to change and the amount gets rejected and then they add the fees to my account. I have asked for the last year for that bank account to be removed and they still have not done so. A manger is never available to speak with you and you get routed around until they finally hang up on you."
